Unproduced Knight Rider Episodes

Post by The Real Michael Knight » Mon Nov 17, 2003 12:09 am

Wow, I just read a script for a season 3 episode of Knight Rider which never made it to production, anyone read it? Its called: "Girls Knight Out". It was pretty good and would have made an excellent addition to the already awesome season 3. Which makes me wonder why it never got off paper. Anyway if you haven't read it. Here's the link to the script:

The website also has some other scripts for some episodes that never hit production, as well as a collection of all the episodes that did. You can view it here at: http://www.fortunecity.com/lavender/007 ... cripts.htm

Yep, those were pretty neat, but generally a company orders up so many episodes per season, and they get more scripts than the accepted episodes, so that ends up with an unproduced episode. :)

i read that one a few years ago.. it was quite fascinating.

KITT
Lady: "I bet you're tall, dark, and handsome."
KITT: "I'm definitely dark and handsome, I'm only tall when I'm climbing a steep incline."

I thought it would be most interesting to see Bonnie as an inmate. I also loved how Michael put it "I'm here to dish out justice-not the law" (well I don't remember the exact quote, but it was something like that). I just loved Michael's whole attitude throughout that scripted episode. Oh, and that rapper Legs was quite funny too I thought.

Having just read the script for "Girls Knight Out", in a way, the episode did technically make it to production.
The producers of KR clearly reworked the story, and made it into the season 4 episode. "Knight Behind Bars".

Yeah, I noticed some definate similarities, like the name of the prison. And Bonnie going undercover as an inmate. But I think I like this version better.
Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"

I recently acquired two unproduced KR scripts - both from the 3rd season. "Endangered Species" and "Knight School" were the titles. I can't remember what the first one was about off the top of my head, but "Knight School" involves Michael investigating a college sorority (no joke!).

Yes, and we all know no lady can resist Michael's cheesy charms, well except for Bonnie. But I think we all know deep inside she loves Michael. ;)
