The original show had a multitude of hilarious moments, but since I have only seen KR2K in the last several years, I'll have to go with the quip exchanges between KITT and Shawn, and also the "She's a real pain in the neck sometimes" "You enjoyed that" exchange between Michael and KITT...not to mention this great one liner -Shawn: "...memory chip transplants are not uncommon these days."
Devon: "As a matter of fact, Mr. Maddock has one on his shoulder."

the aforementioned "Kitt, they're still shooting at us" (and KITT's reply, "Thank you, Michael, but I noticed that myself") was indeed from "Deadly Maneuvers"
Another of my favorites also came from that episode (possibly my all-time favorite, considering the all-around greatness of Edward Mulhare)...
Michael was talking to Devon in the semi, attempting to persuade him to allow Michael some time to investigate Robin Ladd's troubles, but Devon was being stubborn, so...
Michael: "Devon, someone tried to kill me last night!"
Devon (pausing to consider, and looking very stern): "I have an alibi"

The conversation between KITT and Devon in 'Inside Out'
"would you like me to give you a 40 point cross index to the statistical index?" - KITT
"Good lord no, its 2 am" - Devon
"2:02am to be exact" - KITT
"Thank you..." - Devon
"alright KITT, i'll deal with it, tell Michael we'll be ready, and tell him good show" - Devon
"eh hem.." - KITT
"And you too KITT !" - Devon
"Thank you sir, KITT signing off" - KITT
"Thank god..." - Devon

ok, thank you (sarcasm) to each and every one of you - i am getting the STRANGEST looks in this library now.... well when i'm sitting here trying to muffle laughter with the odd tear running down my face you can't blame them! roflmao!!
this has been a BRILLIANT thread folks!
there's too many to mention - KITT's encounter with the alligator being just one! the quipping between characters was brilliant throughout the show (something only matched in my book by will&grace) and has produced so many quotable lines between my mates and i!
eg. anytime one of us says something plain daft and only realise how daft we've been after it comes out (drink can be a factor - lol!) out comes someone with "Your impudence is amusing!" haha!
i loved the scene in knight behind bars when the jogger lady (previous KITT quote being really good: "iv never seen a happy jogger") bumps into the lawyer. when KITT plays that tape i burst at the seams!! same goes for two other s4 eps (forget names) when KITT is accused of causing a traffic accident (by the guy who played the crooked judge in "no big thing" in s1) and the time... and this is one of my utmost faves!!...
...when that lady kicks KITTs bumper and he talks about his ideal woman not realising how double-entendre he's being!!!

knightrider_ni, I hope I'm not sticking my nose in the wrong place, but I thought that you might want to read your signature over again...there's a possible mispelled word there that you might want to change if you didn't mean to spell it that way on purpose. I'm gone now...

Oh, CK, thank you! How could I ever have forgotten that quote? 'A Plush Ride', wasn't it?
And Knightrider_ni, do you mean the episode where the old couple run into Kitt, and then try to blame him for the damage to their car? 'Knight Strike'? I loved that one - Kitt mumbling to Michael that he 'did not strike that man's car!', and Michael trying to concentrate on finding a stash of weaponry.

(Soul Survivor)
The scene where April tells Michael,
and Devon, that KITT's a bit sensitive
about the situation from his ordeal.
Now, in my mind, I'd thought that KITT
would be a little toy model, but my reaction
was the same, just like Michael's reaction,
when April Curtis removed the blanket from KITT.
KITT: "Don't say nothing, not another
word!!!"
Michael: (grins evilly) "KITT!,
(Michael's expression had me rollin')
Are you okay?!"
then KITT responds, then Michael just
laughs.
KITT went from a car, to a small box with
a tv.

Oh man!, I can't remember what episode
it was--in the 1st, or 2nd season of KR,
but there's a scene where a woman
left here purse on the beach, and
Michael has to find it somewhere off the cliff, so Michael winches himself down to
get the purse, finds it and 2 bad guys
are waiting for him, but all I could
remember the womanly expressions/gesture that
Michael had on his face telling the crooks
that he'd came to get his purse, or he forgotten it.
Now, that was hilarious!
If someone knows what I'm talkin' about
let me know--

Ironically, the episode you mean is called 'Forget Me Not'. Supposedly the most viewed of all the episodes, but I didn't think it was worth above a second glance. And that blonde..!

Episode: Forget Me Not Season 1
Two goons are holding Michael at gunpoint, demanding Michael give the retrieved purse to them, and he makes some comment about it not being their color. (Can't remember which snipe it was, but it was funny.)

Tsombe Kuna was one of the best parts of 'Goliath', I thought - brilliant comic character. He may not have intended to make people laugh, but it worked for me - "I didn't come here to be BORED! HA! Haha!"

hehe, no mate, it's spelt right. it's from an s4 episode, and it's actually what michael says which is why i love the line (which, ironically, i forgot to mention in this thread! d'oh!) its the scene with the kim wilde video, remember?
Tsombe Kuna's laugh was brilliant! loved that character, and his laugh is another "quote" (-ish) that comes up real often too with me! lol! my mate colin & i would drive people mad with it!
i think michael's expression in forget me not were hysterical!! hasselhoff has brilliant comic timing! and daniels has too, incredible since it's just his voice on screen.
and i've just remembered one of my very favourite scenes, the gambling scene from knight by a nose. michael has already "borrowed" foundation money from KITT's cash dispenser (now how handy would THAT be?! lol! maybe TOO handy ) much to KITT's annoyance. when michael realises that the gambling tables are fixed, he tries to inform KITT but over his commlink he is met straight away with "NOT ANOTHER PENNY!". that was brilliant! the writer's must have had a great time with scenes like this! and i'm sure the cast lapped them up... i even liked the way this scene was edited, with the abrupt cut to KITT's hood.

KITT said it in Goliath when Michael was ram-jetting towards a mountain (which seemed to be about 5 miles away).

This reminds me of a TKR moment I just loved, dealing with Parking Nazis.
Duke parks Beast in front of a building in a fire zone.
Parking Nazi drives her funky little cart up behind Beast and practically twists up to his driver's side door and knocks on the window.
"Sir, you're not clear of the red line, you can't park here."
No response from Beast
"Look, it's been a long day okay? You have two seconds until I call the tow truck now mo-"
Beast rolls his driver's side window down, reveals the cab is empty and simply says: "Make me."
Parking Nazi, gapes and leaves as fast as she can, Beast doesn't get a parking ticket.
Who says the TKR cars aren't up to snuff? I wish my Ranger would learn that trick.
