Yup. For some reason you'll very rarely see any 3rd gen Firebirds or Camaros. They're all 2nd gen. I don't know if it was to keep the illusion that Kitt was so different or if not that many were out on the roads yets.

You can't throw a rock today without out hitting 20 of 'em now. :D

Huh? Nivek, if you live in Albuquerque, New Mexico as your side profile seems to indicate, you can see Trans-Ams and Camaros of various different generations all over the place, at every single car show (of which Albuquerque hosts several of them, including the State Fair car show) and cruising the streets of Central Avenue on a daily basis, and that is just Albuquerque. The rest of the state of New Mexico has several more, including six KITT conversions, three KARR conversions, and one accidental Knight 4000 conversion.

You're not looking hard enough. Every single time I pass through any part of Albuquerque, I can see virtually any age of Firebird or Camaro, including the 90-91 model years.

So where is it you end up if you take that left turn at Alberquerque? Bugs always forgot to do it.

I seem to notice when you do see a third gen T/A, all one or two times, it's one of those 4 banger models, the L4 I think. Those were the ones that typically had not trim and some '70s Roadrunner inspired paint job. Man those things were ugly!!

I live in TN and trust me I see all kinds of 3rd gen F-Bodys from ones to good to great shape to beat up ones driven by your 3rd gen stereotyped redneck, mullet wearing trailer park trash. No joke.

Saw lots of those people when I was stationed in Utah. When I had my 92 sent out I took it out one night in Tooele where my unit was located. Some young kid in a 3rd gen Camaro that was more bondo and primer than it was car almost got into it with me because the car really got his girls attention. Trust me Camaro dude she was better off. Don't hate the player, hate the game 8).

Rednecks are funny. :D

I just want to thank everybody for NOT saying "Camaro, Trans Am, they're the same car". I hate when people say that. Sure, to the common folk they might seem the same, but to all of us who appreciate the finer things in life, we know the Trans Am kicks Camaro tailpipe.

Yup. For some reason you'll very rarely see any 3rd gen Firebirds or Camaros.
The only time I can thing of when they showed a STOCK 3rd gen Trans Am (ie not Karr) was Michael Long's car. As for 3rd gen Camaros the two eps, were they showed them for good parts of the show, off the top of my head are these. Custom Made Killer were one of the designer's was driving a white Camaro when the killer car came up behind him and pushed him in front of the train. The other is The Nineteenth Hole with the souped up Camaro called the Rat Trap. Which looked alot like this Hot Wheels Camaro I have.
