I think it's a cafe exclusive to the US.

I don't think we (UK) have it.

Wow. You have no idea how great it is to hear someone ask that! Starbucks is a chain of little shops that sells coffee - overpriced coffee. Probably millions of people in the U.S. are addicted to it. They are located just about everywhere; I can actually walk to THREE Starbucks shops from my home. They've become sort of a joke because of how many they are and how loyal theire customers are.

Actually from what I've heard Starbucks is supposed to have twice the caffeine of regular coffees. Maybe that's why I am the way I am   We even got our own plant here in York so you know it's pretty fresh.

It's not exclusive to the US, it's taking over the world, Pinky! Sorry. No, there's one in Bradford, Leeds ... and that's just near me. The Bradford outlet is upstairs from Waterstone's. A perfect combination - the smell of coffee, and books

Wow, you must not get to London often Skav. When I was there visiting last year, there amount of Starbucks was almost as bad as the level in Manhattan! They are everywhere! Second biggest chain in London next to Pret I would think.

So did you win the coffee Mike, or had someone beaten you to it?

Yea, thinking back on it, I shouldn't have just assumed you were in London often. Not knowing where you are in England, it could be quite a trek.

But yea, its not a store you WANT to have in your neighborhood, cause it has a tendancy of destroying mom and pop shops.
