Any 1 got any more info on the knight rider computer game? Is it available in US?

Being intentionally vague, a friend of mine who went to E3 (I think that's the name if the videogame convention) and knows someone who works for one of the gaming magazines says that Knight Rider isn't getting a lot of buzz. They expect it to be a minor release. We need to surprise them.

it probably won't have much advertisement going for it cos of the fact that KR is such an 'old' program now but i think everyone will be surprised cos it WILL be a hit at least with the generation that remembers the old series and you will be surprised how many people of our generation that actually own a console of some kind....

Even though the GBA is pulling off some very nice graphics, I still can't see it doing all the same stuff as the other, above systems can.

Which makes me wonder just how much it is going to be like the games on the above systems. (In Other Words: Will the GBA be a less powerful version or will it be it's own, unique game that can't even be seen anywhere else?)

I agree....look at Driver to me the graphics are just not good at all from the original on ps1...though it is my opinion and to others it may look great...to really take advantage of the Knight Rider Game "i think" ya got to have a ps2 or xbox or as we are all using PC. Just my two pence worth

I'm new to this board, and i've been a huge Knight Rider fan since the show first came out. I really liked the screen shot on the Knigt Rider game, and i'm really looking foward for the game to come out in fall.

Just found the link on a dutch game site over here.
It's told that the game will be released for PS2, but that it will be converted for PC later on... Hope that they will release it soon for PC.

the game is still lookin good, SPM looks impressive too.

just reading through the text it says they may change it so that KITT verbally warns you about mines or something ? so at least we know he will be talking ! wonder if William Daniels has done the voice ?

anybody looked at the dash shot ? they need to sort that out ! and i just hope it has the original sound effects from the show, turbo boost, scanner, SPM, turbine's, the lot, i want it all...i want it all !! lol

That's very cool Thomas, but it doesn't actually say that KITT will be in the game. He's just listed as a car they WANT to see:

"It's been rumored that Vice City will include characters and vehicles "inspired by" (i.e.: identical to) popular TV shows and movies from the 80s. Rockstar wouldn't comment on the subject, but we couldn't help thinking about some of the characters we'd most like to encounter."

They could absolutely put KITT in! And obviously we hope that they do. I'm just trying to clarify the facts vs. the rumors.

I think what would be good is if they did what they did with Driver. Having the missions but also a cruise mode where you can drive around the city's ...just a thought!

If you look at the screen shots u can see Karr is one of the enemies which is all i wanted...also golaith too

this sounds like a pretty fun game. i've always wanted a game with KITT that i could play, and the driving games are my favorite..
even in the cruisin' usa N64 game, i was able to pick a car and then paint it black so it looked like KITT when i got higher levels.
now i can play the real KITT [img]images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
it'd be funner if you could actually get out of the car, play micheal, and chase bad guys. kind of like in GTA3.

In all truth, the designers would be stupid NOT to let you play as Michael. It isn't that hard with today's technology, so they should do it. It wouldn't be a true KR game if they didn't. It would just end up like the TurboGrafix-16 and NES games in Super-Persuit-Mode quality Graphics. (Which isn't a bad thing, since both those games are very good!)

Kitt being carjacked in a GTA game, eh.

I think they are forgetting one little thing...Kitt just won't stand for it.
