Uh, Peter Cullen did it in TDR.

Paul Frees did it in KvK.

They didn't change it in the re-airings.

Sorry, gotta disagree, many have noticed that KARR sounded drastically different since the episode first came out.

Oh well...I'm in the minority of people that do think they sound the same although if you studied the voice over and over again, you can notice some slight change.

Btw, I think KARR sounded more evil in TDR. He had more anger in his voice...in KVK, when he was executing his activities, when he talked, he was always calm.

Exactly.. with being calm.. he sounded much more evil... TDR he was just mad... in KvsK, he sounded diabolical... in that you didn't know what he was thinking.... thats what made him feel more dangerous.

I think that if KARR had been reactivated by, say, Jehovah's Witnesses, he would have turned out to be not so bad. He was only trying to help Tony and Rev in the beginning. He had a sense of morals. ("I will protect you!")

As the episode progressed, though, he became corrupt as he learned the ways of those two fools.

In my view, KARR's anger displaying in TDR is more scarier than a calm mad voice.

his voice, coupled with karr's determination, makes him seem like this force that just wouldn't stop. this angry force!!

to me, that's more scary than a cool, calm and collected KARR going around doing evil things.

for it to work, i do believe the car or whatever it is should be really angry...something like garthe was! losing his cool all the time.

garthe was very intimidating!

KARR sounded all the same in TDR and KvsK.
Okay, I have to say that I've seen the episodes in german, and there the same voice artist has lend his voice to KARR in both episodes.

For "who were the original voices" listen to knightimmortal, she is always right on things like that.

*edit*
sometimes I miss a letter, but this time it was even worse, changed the whole meaning!!

I do too have the female plumbing, I just upgraded. ;)

It's probably the set of brass balls that I carry around that confuse people.
