Jan Hammer did do Knight Rider 2000, but the soundtrack to that sounded neither like Knight Rider or Miami Vice lol

Don Peake definitely has a different style if his work on the original Knight Rider is anything to go by. Musically, its always fun to get two different styles together and they can usually co exist beautifully.
