Die hard kitt's printer sound

Just heard kitt's printer sound while watching Die Hard 2. Funny thing is I was surfing the web and they were setting up the tech in a scene just after the prisoner in cuffs was asking to light a Cuban. Heard the sound while was watching my pc screen and thought, strange I don't remember putting on a knight rider DVD. Also heard it a second time in the movie when the terrorists tap into air traffic control.
