KITT and GTA car (Ruiner 2000)

Post by J D Rider » Mon Aug 28, 2017 11:29 pm

I've been watching a lot of KR stuff on YouTube lately. Has anyone seen the car from the popular video game series Grand Theft Auto? It's called the Ruiner 2000. It looks very similar to the original KITT...has a similar dash, too. Thought this was interesting...

Check out the YouTube video. Someone put together a montage of the car with a KR theme:

And here's a wiki link about it:

I found it funny when it came out a few.. Ontbs after my team completed this great Kitt car for the game.

It was almost like rockstar was getting jealous of all the attention my teams mod and the other guys Kitt abilities mod came out and decided to make their own Kitt.

I could've sworn I've seen the same exact comment like this on another thread about the Ruiner 2000...

Your KITT is much better than the Ruiner 2000 though.

Thank you but as Devon said, "We like to think of it as our car. "

Cool! Knight Racer, the KITT you and your team created is super awesome! I can see why Rockstar was jealous!! It's exactly like the original KITT- every detail accounted for. I was out of the loop on these mods. Have there been any other renditions of KITT created for GTA besides Knight Racer's and The Ruiner 2000? Did anyone create KIFT or the Mustang KITT?

Unfortunately no. But there is a mustang in game by default. People customize. There's a Kitt. Net mod on that site that puts in a scanner by the hood nose.

Well, as awesome as your KITT mod is, you should create your own KR video game! That'd be awesome. It could pick up right where the show left off in '86...have Michael, RC, Bonnie, Devon... u could make it more authentic to the original show than the other video game adaptions that have been created. Would be sweet.

I once tried for a Knight Rider video game. Things aren't easy to make. That's for sure.
