Does anyone have a copy of KITT's demo mode, that was played by the car when on tour. I would love to play this at car shows when I eventually get the car done.

I don't think many here do?...And I'm not sure what you mean by the demo mode when the car was on tour? Like on display?

Yes, there was a pre recorded file from when the car was on tour back in the 80s. KITT would talk about being on tv and about the car and its related functions, so he told you he was not programmed to respond to questions at that time. I think it was on the world of wheels I think the tour was called.

I know exactly what you're talking about.

I used to have a cassette tape that I recorded from a custom auto show in the 1980s. Several years ago I digitized the tape to an audio file and got rid of the tape. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the digital file. I think I still have it on a hard drive somewhere, but have looked several times over the years with no luck.

The tape I recorded had a lot of background noise, but it was still pretty cool.

It went something like this:

"I am the Knight Industries Two Thousand, KITT for short. I've been temporarily preprogrammed to give out declassified data about myself...."

Then he goes on to talk about his different functions and abilities.

Yes, that is exactly it. It would be nice to have, but most people don't even remember it.
