Pilot K.I.T.T.

Post by TNKnight » Wed Jun 14, 2017 10:17 am

So recently I have embarked on the journey of a lifetime, to convert my Firebird into the original pilot KITT. However, I need help because I have no electronic or fibreglass experience to create the items needed for the car. So this forum is being started to help create the First KITT we ever saw, the promo car. Basically the car with a an original trans am bumper modified which I like to call the "Ugly Duckling Bumper".

That car still has the full steering wheel and no overhead console. I think I just found the answer to a question that bugged me for years.

"If there were only two t/a available for the pilot according to a Larson interview, they must have modified Michael Long's t/a (IRL not the storyline) so when/how was that done?"
