I hate how the spoiler looks in those models. Too large. I like the elegant simple lines of the earlier models.

I think that first picture is a Firebird Formula. The Formula had the performance of the Trans Am without the added ground effects and big spoiler. The Firehawk, which had even more power, looked like the Formula, except maybe small differences. This Firehawk looks just like the Formula except, of course, for the white Firehawk name. This can all be confusing, as you could get a base V6 Firebird with a Trans Am appearance package in some years I believe.

Turning these last generation trans ams into kitt reminds me of knight rider legends the fan fic where both kitt and karr and reactivated. Karr's memory is wiped clean and thinks he is a new model placed in a 98 trans am until he discovers files for a case marked K.A.R.R. with a 82 trans am. a new driver is recruited and Michael Knight returns. It was an incredible story. I still have the fan fic if anyone wants it emailed to them.

I did a fast photoshop on it.
Need to keep the ram air hood it does not look right with a plan hood and i like the chrome rimes better then the turbo cast wheels but thats me.

The car I just used has the nostrils from the ram air hood. I feel that they distract you from the scanner. The only reason I like them at all is because kitt had a cowl induction hood which I liked on 1 side of the hood. Some features of the 82 trans am design represent kitt to me such as the shape of the body and the hubcaps/turbofins. Scheffe went on record stating that the unique bumper design he made, he felt were continuations of the lines on the trans am. I can see that from the curved lines on the hood flowing down to the part just under the scanner.

I always liked the 4th gen Firebird but why are all the Kitt 2.0 mock-ups rocking the Turbocast rims, they look daft on that model. No offense, just my opinion. :good:

Because some of the stock trans am's parts seem like they are a part of kitt. The wheels, the cowl induction hood, T-tops, scanner, maybe even a ground effects on a good bumper.
