KNIGHT RIDER 2010 AT 20
It has been 20 years since the TV Movie KNIGHT RIDER:2010 aired. Many may know, Universal featured it as part of their Action Pack, which also consisted of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, and Xena: Warrior Princess. I know some fans don't like it, but I do. It was an interesting attempt to take Knight Rider in a different direction, and it did launch the Career of Hudson Leick("Callisto" to Xena and Hercules fans.). Happy 20th KR:2010.

Well, it 'was actually' suppose to be about the further adventures of one man (Michael Knight) and his crime fighting car (KITT) righting the wrongs in the year 2010.
By the time all the legal issues had been wrung through...they...got the name. And, just in time to snatch an alternative script that could loosely fit a sci-fi universe with a personalized car and a man. A fitting conclusion to a series that went in a whole different direction, right afterwards. Alas, if KR 2010 was their learning curve, TKR was the fruit of their labors and lessons.
And, quite honestly, I'd still opt to watch KR 2010 over KR 2000.
