It didn't suck though they could have respected the original show more, that said it's not back then and shows move on just not in the direction I would have liked but it got better as time went on, a 2nd series should have been made really . It did really start to pick up towards the end of SG KR which is a shame

Shame to see the daugher of sidney poitier aka Sydney Tamiia Poitier (Veronica Mars), Val Kilmer (The Doors), Paul Cambell (Battlestar Galatica) and even Bruce Davison (Longtime Companion, A Mother's Revenge) wasted in this thing, these are very talented people completely wasted in this mess.

I think this is the major turnoff for me with it. Notably, I'm an avid fan of Transformers (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transform ... ight=allen), but I like different things to be just that - different. Since the original series, I think it's been the best stab at rebooting the franchise. It still falls short, though.

Having said that, I do want to give it another go some day down the road.
