Knight Rider Companion book in the UK?

Hi all,

I've been looking for the Knight Rider Companion book in the UK since it came out. I know it is available to buy and ship internationally from http://www.knightridercompanion.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
However, $59 for shipping, at twice the cost of the book itself is ridiculous. I know the author makes no money from shipping costs, but at $89, I simply cannot afford to do this.

Does anyone know if this book is available in the UK or even Europe, where shipping costs will be more sensible?

Thanks

You are better off buying "Knight Rider: 30 Years of a Lone Crusader and His Talking Car" By Joe Huth & David Bronstein. It's a better book.

Thanks guys . So the other book is is comparable in terms of quality photos and behind the scenes stories?

I'm particularly interested by photos of KITT construction and the sets. You know, things you're not supposed to see ;-)

The companion book has close to a thousand photos you're looking for and many great interviews from tthe cast and production crew. The 30 years book has great interviews from guests on each episode. Both are terrific and show a lot of work was done in terms of research. I couldn't choose between the two books which is better because they're both great.

Thanks

I think I'll give the 30 years book a try. If I feel it's not what I hoped for, I guess I'll have to start saving for the other book!

A certain somebody who recommended you not buy the Companion has an agenda and a grudge against the author, so don't take his word for it. It's a great book, as is the 30 years one.

Buy it from Amazon. I think it's cheaper.
