New to the board and a value question on some items
Hi everyone,
My name is Ian from New Jersey I have been huge Knight Rider fan for a very long time.
I recently started clearing out a bunch of collectibles from my storage unit and found a few cool KR things.
A set of Kyosho aoshima items I bought a long time ago. I checked completed ebay listings and one item is unfindable so I can't get a grasp of its value.
Now the semi truck model I see going for $250-400
The K.A.R.R. Mini-Z bodyset with lights looks to be in the $200 area.
But the real toughie is the complete in box Kyosho Mini-z Readyset Skynet radio control K.I.T.T. car....
I drove it around in my office once for 10 minutes and it went back in the box, then into storage ever since.
Does anyone have a clue what its worth as there are basically none for sale I could find in the entire world?
Thanks.

Can't believe nobody has a clue on this, does anyone on here even own one of these RC toys?

I don't own any but I'm pretty sure I saw the Semi Truck model sell new in it's box for about £160 on ebay last week.

Oh yeah theres plenty of those, I'm trying to figure out the Kyosho mini-z radio control K.I.T.T. value. it seems like theres not a single one for sale or recently sold anywhere. I wonder how many of these were ever made?

Hello Ian and welcome to KRO. That Kyosho Mini-z rc is very rare in my opinion, I am no expert in any way but I do collect KR merchandise and am regularly on Ebay looking for products. From what I have seen this particular product is pretty rare because I have only seen a couple in the last few years I think. They were used and went between $50 and $150 depending on the condition.pitstain wrote:Hi everyone,

Re: New to the board and a value question on some items
Thanks for the input blowersho,
Seems kinda low since I see the body sets alone going for $400 a pair currently (per completed listings).
I may just throw them up on ebay and see where things go even though I hate to part with anything.

No problem, like I said the ones I saw were used and worn out, both the car and the box. Yours on the other hand seems to be in mint condition so it would probably go for way more than $150. If I had that I would just keep it since in excellent condition it is even more rare than Mini Z KITT & KARR body sets.

Ian, I made a mistake, I didn't realize you were showing the 1/28 scale Mini Z Ready set. There is another little KITT made by Kyosho that is much smaller and stubby which comes in a similar box, I thought you were showing that. What you have there is ultra rare and I have never seen it anywhere and you are correct that the bodies only go for about $400 for the pair so the a ready set in good condition would go for even more. I would keep that gem if I were you but if you want to sell it by all means go for it.
