KITT's rotating license plate

Which episode(s) had KITT rotating the license plate?

I don't ever recall seeing it in action,

did he do it or does Michael have to roate it manually?

The episode is called Brothers Keeper one of the season two episodes. I live in NY and hear a few people got busted making them. Guess the gps navigation isn't the only idea they got from our car of the future.

I assumed the idea would have come from James Bond, Goldfinger, on his DB5 he had rotating number plates.
