To everyone that knew Taoworm/Joshua READ!

Post by KI3T-Soft » Sun Dec 02, 2012 3:31 pm

Hello KR-Online Members,
i have really really bad news for you guys,
our friend Joshua (also known as Taoworm) is passed on.
He died on a heart attack on November 29th. :|

I wish his family and friends much strength to resume everyday life!

Joshua was a great KR-Online Member and a good friend of me,
we also worked together on many Knight-projects (the voiceorb, head-up-display,...)
and I will never forget him!

His great ideas, his talents, his humor,... there are so many things to say about him!
And he will always be in my heart!

I hope he is good in heaven and wish he could see us grieve.

Lasse (aka KittFanNr1 or KI3T-Soft)

(a little information to our KR-products: From now on I will take on all Knight Rider orders from him and sorry for my not so excellent english skills, I come from germany)

Thank you Lasse for your kind words. This weekend has been very difficult for our family and I appreciate that Joshua had so many friends that are sending condolences. The outpouring of love has been very sweet and I appreciate the love and support that all of you have sent.

He went silently in his sleep and I know that Joshua is at peace and take solace that he is with his mom that preceded him into the next place a couple of years ago.

Since this was Joshua's favorite online hangout, I wanted to let you guys know personally. He thought the world of all of you. Knight Rider was by far his biggest childhood influence and I love that he got to share his dream of building KITT with all of you.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers during this difficult time, we appreciate it.

Tiffany,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. I had some great phone calls with Josh and will remember him everytime my ORB lights up.

Hi Tiffany,

There's nothing I can say that will lessen the sadness you're feeling, but Josh really was one of the good ones, and we'll all miss him.

Matt
Welcome aboard the Knight 2000.

Thank you. What's all this, it looks like Darth Vader's bathroom?

Really unfortunate to hear! Taoworm's passion for Knight Rider and ability to bring real life executions of Knight Rider wizardry to life was amazing to watch and be a part of.

From all of us here at Knight Rider Online, we will miss you - and send our thoughts to those who knew him and are grieving. Sorry for your loss Tiffany and Lasse.

I have a knot in my stomach over this. I always liked Joshua and we had some PM laughs over me "scolding" him for some of the things he posted online (just silly stuff). We exchanged messages like that just last week.

I remember the first time I saw one of his orbs in a replica - I was stunned at how good it looked. This was a device which I assumed they just did all in CG for the series, which you could could watch in real life. He combined engineering and creativity in beautiful ways.

Joshua had a lot of talent and a lot of passion for what he did. This is really a loss to the entire fandom. Our thoughts and prayers go out especially to his family and close friends.

At first I really couldnt believe this. I have Joshua's updates to my Knight Rider GPS to having the opportunity to own his orb. Very VERY talented.

He will be in my prayers.

Unbelievable. I remember when Joshua was posting vids on here with his red Camaro, the hurricane, his R2D2 mod, the KR gps mod and the bringing of KI3T to life. He always had something interesting to say. The community will miss him and the contributing advancements he made in "Knight tech", he truly was our Dr. Graiman. Rest in Peace brother. My heart felt condolences to his family and close friends.

I had an eerie feeling a little while back when someone speculated on Taoworm being absent and then the man himself .

Sorry I have been out of pocket everyone. I had to put my KI3T on hold for a while. Been dealing with some weird 'supernatural' ...stuff. Too weird to say. So why say it?

So sad to hear. I knew Josh just from this forum and really wanted to meet him at KRF one of these years in his mustang. He was a great guy for the small amount of contact we had. He will be missed here.

Wow, i don't know what to say....completely shocked!

I have just read this thread up and down several times thinking/hoping that it's gotta be a sick joke! I was only chatting to him the other week about my car pc for the orb i brought from him.
The guy was unbelievably clever and obviously had a passion for helping others. I can not imagine what he would of created next! It takes a good mind to think of things but a truly great mind to create them!

My deepest condolences go out to his family and close friends!

Although I have not completed my replica yet, I know his orb will make my car pretty much perfect. I just wish i had the chance to meet him, talk with him and thank him in person.

THANK YOU JOSHUA.....and may you rest in peace my friend

I am at a loss for words. He was a modern day Wilton Knight with his designs. I always applauded his work and even requested his services for my unique KAGE design, which he was more than happy to assist me on. He will be missed greatly.

Forever a Knight.

Wow, I am extremely shocked by this tragic news. Joshua truly was brilliant in his creativity and engineering in bringing so much of the KI3T technology to life for all of the fans who wanted to have a replica Mustang of their own. He continually amazed me with the updates he'd post on his work and the devotion he had for everything Knight Rider-related. He had many, many friends here at KRO (including me) that are going to sorely miss him. My thoughts and condolences are with his family and everyone here on the board who cared about him.

I haven't posted on this board for a very long time but I wanted to offer my deepest condolences to Joshua' family. From what I read on his threads to the contribution and help he provided fellow fans, he will be sorely missed. Joshua was one of the good guys on KR online, his passion, creativity and engineering skiills were admirable.

Coming from an automotive background I was in awe of his skills at engineering parts to make his KI3T come to life. Throughout it all though, his humour and willingness to help others exemplifies what Knight Rider is all about.

I didn't know Joshua personally but I could appreciate his efforts and for that I know the fandom and his family will miss him. Rest in peace.

Although I didn't know Joshua personally I'm fully aware of what he has done for the KRO community and indeed his projects with the voice orb, all very interesting. This is again very tragic and sad news to all of us around globe. My condolensces to Joshua's family and friends. Unfortunately, there's nothing more you can do but to move on and preserve all the joyful memories you all share with him.

KRO will certainly miss him.

Sorry to hear this.
I had nothing but respect for the guy.....when I came out of nowhere building my KI3T, he gave nothing but advice & treated me like I was "one of the guys"
RIP.
