Our 1/8 KITT has finally completed !!

Postby littecaser » Sep 24, 2012 10:04 pm

Dear members

"My adventure has ended, and yours has just begun..."

Our adventure has just begun Mr.Knight.

Our KITT has completed and its on the way to Tokyo now.

Tommorrow, I will upload the video of it.

Many people will point out some differences compared to screen KITT, but scale model has many restrictions due to its size.

We did our best in this couple of years and maybe we will modify the details if we have a chance.

But, please take a look at these pics below.

Officially licensed products and even show miniatures can't come close to this amazing work. Why, this miniature could easily fly for the visuals in a Knight Rider vs. Dr. Shrinker merger episode.

Thank you jup.

I think that mass production items have many barriers to make their models accurate.

They have limited budget and mandate, also limited information from universal.

But we, KR fans can do anything if we can spend time and money.

I am very appereciated your comment but this model is still not about 70% accuracy for us.

We wanted to spend more time and budget for curcuits and other electronics...

We want to make it to choose pursuit mode with quickly going up taco&speedometers.

And other functions like automated moving steering wheel and shift gear when it`s auto cruise mode.

I want all other fans to make their original KITT based on their image of KITT.

And I will buy mass production items like mattel to enhance their passions to produce more KR items.

Thank you.

The video REALLY shows off just how detailed and complicated this project is. Beautiful work.

Thank you Michael.

It was tough work for me and my friend.

He is a genious of electronics like April and Bonnie, but many maulfunctions and errors had happend when he was assembling this KITT.

I paid $○○○○ for him and we made a long conversation on each weekend for this model.

This KITT has 5 speed range sccaner and adjustable speed retractable headlights.

And I can choose day mode for scanner and dashboard lighting up only or night mode including other lights like headlights, small orange lights, corner markers and taillights by using selecter lever.

I will soon up load the video.

Please also check my customized delorean on youtube.

Thank you!!

Wow! That is amazing, you put in some serious effort and the final product is testament to that. Nothing in this universe is perfect but this is the best little KITT I have ever seen, bravo. :good:

Might I also suggest loading the iamges to some site, like ImageShack.us (free and easy) or Photobucket, and then you can directly display the images here instead of having to click on every link.
And when things appeared to get better, they got worse, and everyday was a day to cry.

Dear Members

Thank you for viewing my KITT.

Now, he is on repairing...

Since he has many sophisiticated circuits in his body and he has many defects....

we will make his sound gimmick louder and making more clear monitors right now.

Do you have any suggestions to our KITT to modify ?

Best.

Dear Members

Now, we are modifying our KITT.

Since AA batteries are too weak to operate all illuminations of this.

And we are doing some changing for decal for steering.

We can`t do any changings for illuminations since it`s always assembled and painted....

Please give us your frank advices and your comments for making more precise KITT.

Thank you !!
