I've been pulled over for my fog lights. The officer that pulled me over claimed they were as bright as high beams and I received a warning to either get dimmer bulbs or never run them at night again. I live in Ohio, no emissions, no inspections, etc but we have to have that stupid front plate, and there is no way in hell I'm drilling a plate in my custom front bumper. To over come this I purchased the front mounting bracket and I keep it in the front seat with me. When the officer inquires I show him the front plate and state that it will be installed but it needs to be done so professionally. This has resulted in a verbal warning every time. So far that has worked for the last 6 years (only been stopped twice) but I'm sure one day I will get an officer that will remember my B.S. story and hand me my well deserved ticket.

Ya Ken I was in the same boat you was with the front plate until one day I get pulled over FOR JUST THAT!!! I asked the state rod why and he said that the last highway patrol that pulled me over told everyone to be on the lookout for me missing a plate and that it was unacceptable to not have the front plate. I was given a ticket and got it thrown out at the courthouse. I sold the truck and still can not believe the state highway patrol have nothing better to do than note my failure to run a front plate when it is so easy to get the ticket thrown out if that's all you are ticketed for.

I know a guy that has a beater S10 that runs 5 different plates on the front bumper lol. He could get charged with impending an officers job. But never has gotten harassed about it in over 7 years :). We make him drive it to all the car meets we have. Even though he has a nice MKIV Supra :).

This is a very nice car. It would be great to see it star in a TV movie.
