AIRWOLF Documentary (2014): 'ECHOES FROM THE FIRM'

To all fans and members,

Coming in just over two years time is a brand new DVD documentary project on "AIRWOLF". An independently-produced retrospective of British origin, and professionally made by myself, Martin Grant (producer/director), Eric Shepherd (lighting cameraman) and Mark Cairns (associate producer), it will feature close to 50 cast and crew interviews, including some familar "KNIGHT RIDER" names:

* Lance LeGault ("Vernon Gray" in the 'Pilot' / "Christopher Stone" in 'A Knight in Shining Armour')
* Sondra Currie ("Francesca Morgan" in 'Not a Drop to Drink')
* Catherine Hickland ("Stevie Mason" in her own trilogy of episodes)
* James Whitmore, Jr. ("Rick Calley" in 'Knight Moves')
* Harvey Laidman (episode director)
* Louis Race (1st assistant director)
* Lenore Kasdorf ("Lori Wainwright" in 'Lost Knight' / "Karen Bennett" in 'Fright Knight')
* Wendy Schaal ("Jamie Downs" in 'The Nineteenth Hole')
* Sandra Kronemeyer ("Monica" in 'Knight in Retreat')
* Burton Armus (supervising producer/writer)

"KR" was discussed in some of the interviews, but those segments will not make the final cut. They'll be made available as bonus extras, unless someone here decides to produce their own documentary on the show.

Release is set for January 2014, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series.

Joe, I'd consider it if the money was available from an outside source. I invested a small fortune for the main shoot. By the time it comes in '14, it'll have been a substantial one.

It's also to push forward the IMMINENT deadline for the fundraising campaign. There is only 11 DAYS LEFT.

It ends NEXT Friday, 14th September.

If you haven't already made a contribution, and have been planning to do so (as I'm aware from three long-serving fans they are), I would hugely appreciate it if you could submit as soon as possible, so we have a better idea of how much we'll be left to raise in the final week. I don't mean to push at all, as we've done well so far, but there's just under $3,500 remaining to gather, and time's catching up on us.
