Did I really see THREE cars in Dr. Graimans garage in the 2008 garagedoor pilot?
A dismantled 1985 pontiac trans-am, A 2005 Mustang, and a car under a cover.
Anyone else notice this?

I wish my garage was this big.

Thats excellent. No amount of dvd pausing would get it as clear as this.
Cheers.

That KITT in the foreground is a Joyride 1:18 diecast made by ERTL.

The majority of that garage is CGI. They originally shot that in the 2 car garage of the house. Then they decided it needed to be bigger and they CGI'd the 1:18 miniature next to the other Firebird because they felt that the fans would want to see the original KITT.

I'm starting to think that you're right about that.I remember 1 guy said they bought the trans am in the garage so that might be the one under the tarp.I also remember someone on this forum saying they loaned there stearing wheel, hood, dashboard, ands rear bumper for that shot.

If I remember correctly, Rob Louisell provided the production team with the parts that were used in that scene. This is why they were of the specifications seen in Knight of the Phoenix, and not The Scent of Roses, as he couldn’t complete the latter model's parts in the timeframe required. :good:

You are correct. And I provided the California KNIGHT license plate. As well as the one seen in KICKIN' IT OLD SCHOOL.

Didn't Don Colie also provide some goodies like the steering wheel or some hubcaps?

Besides the fact that Graiman was never mentioned in the original series, in the garage there was also a 5.7 TPI V8 which was not available in the 1982 Trans Am. But, how did he get KITT in his garage, unless, after Knight Industries and the Foundation was shut down, he took KITT and put it in his garage and then used the original KITT in the development of KARR and then the new KITT. I would guess the other car that is covered was used for parts for the original KITT.

That photo is great showing the entire garage. Every time I try to pause the DVD to see the entire garage, I can only see a quick outline of the garage.
