KITT at Comikazee Expo L.A. this weekend

This weekend is the "Comicazee Expo" at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It is self-described as "Los Angeles’ first and only large-scale, multi-media pop culture convention. We are the Comic Con of LA." Star Cars will have their KITT at the expo.

Paul Casey, promoter of the Las Vegas Knight Rider Festival, called me and said he will be coming out for Comicazee. So if you see him, say hello. He's tall, has dark hair, and may channel Elvis from time to time. But don't let that scare you - he's a good guy and would love to hear from. And you'll be sure to get an earful about Knight Rider Festival IV, celebrating 30 years of Knight Rider, coming next May.

News changes quickly.... Star Cars Central will NOT be at the show this weekend. They are canceling their appearance.

"StarCarCentral will not be at this years Comikazi expo due to union fees charged the organizer in the last few days. We look forward to next years show and wish all the best for this weekend!"

It was outrageous fees, $250 load-in/$250 load-out, thats $500 per StarCar. 8 Star Cars, they wanted $4000. Maybe next year, I was going to debut my new Knight Rider banner designed by Nick Nugent ,next to my KITT at Comikaze. That is my KITT pictured in the center, Nick did a great job designing it.
