Thanks Pierre!
Anyway I'll get back on topic:
The new voice activated Knight Rider GPS mod is tonight as well as some of the upgrades to my KI3T project. (Thermal camera) :good:

(Edit: Now it seems as though the E.P.T. test was wrong. :(
On the bright side...more money for KITT.

Soooo, question.... If you're not planning on building any more holo gauges, what's the deal with Champion Mustang still advertising them?

That's a good question iphil! :good:
The answer is I am making 2 versions.
The one on ChampionMustang I will sell. (Notice both versions look different.)

The Holo Gauges I make for ChampionMustang will be available to you and everyone else and will appear just as they do on the site picture.

The Knight 3000 HoloGauges are what you see in my car in the video's above and will not be available anywhere because the process to make and display them are very different.

Oh and KITTs Thermal FLIR camera came in today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwZBx82FePM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :good:

Liability concerns and a host of other legal issues prevent me from making my K3000 version of the Holo Gauges for anyone. :(
However...
The Holo Gauges I am making for Champion are going to be awesome though. As you can see they will look enough like the K3000 ones to work in replicas. :good:

Like I said the gauges themselves couldn't be more different and the mechanics and tech and method are different as well.

I'm guessing liability in terms of trademark infringement? It sucks because I really like the ancilliary displays (not nessessarily the terrain map) on the speedo. Will you post a good vid of the production set if/when you make one? And I'm guessing they'll be accurate numbers (as opposed to your video where they were scrolling up and down for show)

Trademark isn't really an issue as much as the way it's displayed. The K3000 Holo Gauges use a 'dangerous' method to display the data while the Holo Gauges from ChampionMustang are safe for driving.

Yes I will make a full video outlining the functions of the HoloGauges sold on Champion.
And yes the numbers will be accurate. :good:

One more question- would there be an easy way to switch between analog and holo mode?

Yes you can still use the mycolor option if you have it.
And yes the Holo Gauges can be displayed in MPH or KPH.

sweet when it comes in be prepared for some Hawaiian macadamia nuts chocolates they normally go from 40 to 60 to 80 to 120 dollars or more a box depending where you are living at in the world. But for me $1.29 for the $20 dollar package. $1.59 for the $40 dollar package and the big double box layer $3 to $4 bucks at most and well not so cheap for anyone else lol. Also some lei hi mui gummybears very popular/ lei hi mui sour belts and much more :P. the main thing I truly cant wait for Joshua the price listing for all the parts :P. that's the main thing I'd like to see so i can start saving up for them hehehe.

Oh I have one more HUD teaser before I do the install: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7222TAId ... ideo_title" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

When I go to install everything I am going to make a video how to series for folks wanting to turn there Mustangs into a 3000 replica. I'll visually cover EVERY step of the process for all of you guys. From proper airbag removal to steering wheel changing. :good:

(Ted and Matt where nice enough to help me out with many of the how to's since they finished there KITT's before me and a lot of us here. So BIG thanks to Ted and Matt!) :good:

Yeah Taoworm I can't wait to see the list and prices of the products when you send down my orb so I can better much see what to get next. I do know this I'll need the lower dash console but heck if the HUD is 100% complete that is for sure a hard decision. Gosh I hope this new job goes well it's $ 10 an hour until proven other wise with probation. I was hired as a officer clerk assistant. But in reality I'm doing Human Resources and Accounting O.o. Plus heck who am I assisting there is no one else but me O.o Plus on Side note no exp in HR and accounting wtf O.o. I'm being train for all this and if I do well my hourly will triple from what I'm told $_$. At this new place I'm working the owners sons tells me that they know the person that does some of the mustang custom bumper designs from where I live. Hmmm If that's true I know what I'm going to do :D.

route it to the back end of your steering wheel also get a high end quality microphone not a cheap one or kitt wont understand a word you say. And when you say one thing he may reply for another saying but not the one he supposed too :P. also there's a video on a car pc set up on youtube and that's why i know what to do. if you want help on any car pc set ups just look at this guys video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uJEeGQYwuk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; He shows you and tells you everything you need for a car pc and where to put things.
