Proof that the overhead console season one had switches

Post by Knight Racer » Tue Apr 12, 2011 7:26 am

I forgot which thread this belonged in but I was watching season 1 episode not a drop to drink and in minute 42 and 20 seconds you see Michael flipping the switches on the opverhead console.A lot of people thought it was buttons then colored buttons but we never really had proof that they were switches until now.

Yes, and one side was green, the other was red. And they alternated on the overhead, red, green, red...etc.

I agree. I think Billy has some that are red and green, they are greenly lit (mula) too..... The ones I used are not too bad, not cheap , but very attainable.... Now making a plate for it... oh boy...

Interesting, does someone has a picture of the 4th season upper console? I've never seen it properly

What the hel is that series of horizontal red lights where the visor would be?
And when things appeared to get better, they got worse, and everyday was a day to cry.

In the season 4 premiere Michael presses buttons in front of the small plane to access kitt's PA system. These buttons were pressed on the longer part of the upper console but it cut to footage of him pressing colored buttons which were later replaced in the season by red lit buttons. They probably had buttons for all 4 seasons where David pushed things at random and they put in noises and footage for different functions.

these buttons are in the overhead consol used in seasons 1 and 2 due to the use of stock footage they were used a few times in 3 and 4 ,in killer kitt for example, but they were replaced by the line of red lights
check out kitt vs karr when eddie's scheming with karr when he approches karr's door the camera pans and you can seen the upper consol and the buttons
michael;i've got a problem.
devon;my dear boy, dont be so modest, you have a wide range of problems.
