Plus I'd like to add, now that I think of it, that any new series or film will no doubt not feature Hasselhoff. So this would be a great way to cameo him in. Say a new series comes out ,and this time it's good and faithful to the original and has a new driver and a new car and a climactic episode destroyed or severely damanges the new car (beyond what happened to K.I.T.T., and there's not enough time for repair, suddenly an older member of F.L.A.G. recalls that K.I.T.T. was not demolished but put out of service. Cue: Don Peake classic KR score. Cue blackness. Cue: K.I.T.T.'s scanner shinning in the darkness. Cue: Hasselfhoff behind the wheel as he emerges from the darkness. The Hoff to the rescue!
How awesome would that be?

And when things appeared to get better, they got worse, and everyday was a day to cry.
