GT500 Front Fascia Conversion - Parts List

Post by krkitt1 » Fri Nov 20, 2009 10:06 am

I was asked for this list and decided to post it on its own so other people who want the list can copy it, since they may not see it under a different topic. I will post everything with Ford part #s and if I forget anything, please feel free to add it to the list if you have done this coversion. If you need any help, please feel free to contact me and if you are near Springfield, IL , I can help you do the conversion. Thanks Ted

Thanks Pierre, I knew I was forgetting something. I got my Brake Bezels from JLT for $70.00 Shipped. Shelby wants $130 and it's a pain to cut a egg shape hole. As for the Carbon Fiber Splitter, I would go with the reg. for daily driving.

Underdash neon lights
The Alcoa rims are only available from Shelby, but I found mine for the cheapest price through Stage 3 Motorsports for $489.95.

Depending on how thorough you want to be:
-Ford Racing Whipple supercharger
-center LCD screen (I hope to begin working on a fiberglass bezel to hold it in the next month)

Taoworm2323 has a few things he's working on I believe. He may chime in here with future projects.
I hope to custom build a lot of my interior pieces, other than Taoworm's voice orb.

The products I am working on for sale are

1. Fully functional Voice Orb with template overlay and vents

2. UV laser HUD system with patented windshield laminate

3. Center 11" OLED Middle Console screen(Pilot TV movie) 1,000,000 to 1 contrast ratio!!

4. Dash lights for normal and attack mode (The attack mode voice command sends a relay signal from the 3000's PC to change the dash lights from blue to red as well as change the HUD graphics.)

5. Patented Holographic gauges (Pilot TV movie) --Wait until you guys see that!

6. Momo steering wheel (Pilot TV Movie) (Warning: Will cost you out the ass. )

7. Scanner for the Mustang (KI3T KARR & UV Stealth mode (Blacklight)

Taoworm- Are the holo gauges going to be the red blue and green ones that were on film, or are they the red ones from the concept art?

Both lphill01. :) See my photo-shopped picture below...

The red holo gauge can be bought to replace the center gauge while the other two that were used during the tv movie will be used in the stock instrument display bezels. :good:

Where is the best place to buy the neon that is mounted under the top section of the dash. How hard is that installation? I wish they would have just included those in the stock GT500.
