Earlier in the thread we're talked about adding KARR and we definitely want to do it! It'll be part of a major update, so I can't give you an ETA on it yet.
Better still, I think it would be cool if this application could be used, not just on iPhones, but on Macbook laptops especially because I have no desire to buy an expensive iPhone but I have a laptop.

Porting it to Mac would be easiest, because the two platforms are so alike in many ways. However, I really don't have any experience with programming for Mac, so it would still take me six years to do.
For PC there are plenty of KITT voiceboxes, I think. Are there none for Mac?

has anyone tried the Orbus app? it's an A.I iphone/touch pet.. reponds to you and gestures.. i guess a bit influenced like kitt form knight rider.. but what ironic is that the voice of Orbus sounds alot like Val Kilmer in the new Knight Rider series

Hey Thaurin. I just found your iKITT app. I know I'm a little late. But I just wanted to say thanks for doing this. It really looks and sounds great. Now I have KITTS voice on my ITouch
!!!
I'd love to see more dash functions as I have more than one itouch and could have a more realistic dash on my car
so if you make the dash's I will buy them

Thanks, MR2NR. Some great suggestions about more dashboards and a way to navigate them have only just been suggested to me. Sounds like a good idea for an update after the next update! I know I've been talking about the next update a lot with little to show for it, and it makes me feel a little guilty. I do really want to finish it, though, but KARR voices, scanner, configuration, etc. (see
website) will make it in first!
