Keep up the good work and can't wait for the finished one! :good:
Why I feel in old times again?
simple:
When I see a good picture, art or replica about the KI2T, I always be happy and automaticly remember the days when it was new: the good old days of knight rider... :D

Thank you all for the kind support. I am now concentrating on the interior. It is still a long way to go... but little by little.... Also, this is my first 3d model that I model an interior. I am using picture references since I dont have a trans am near by to look at. As soon as I have more stuff, they shall be posted! Thanks everybody for the kind words! =)

Nice work dude, one question though, how did you put your attachment on the forum? I did some hand drawings that i scanned to my pc and tried to put them on the forum and they would not allow it. :kitt2:

Thanks Turboboost! Hit POST REPLY (not quick reply) and when the new window opens where you can type the message, and right underneath the buttons SAVE- PREVIEW - SUBMIT you will find 2 tabs: One says options, the other says UPLOAD ATTACHMENTS. That's your ticket!

Also I dont know about the resolution restrictions by the site. So check on that. :kittconv:

very good... I tried makin KITT when I was still a noob modeler so it pretty much sucked... never tried makin it after that... anyway... I dont know how hard it is to model with maya... but this looks like a lot of details for a model no matter what u use... keep it up... u still got a long way to finish this :) but AWSOME so far

Thats the closest to KITT I made:
http://www2.arnes.si/~bkrpan/homepage/m ... derpsd.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
[from 2009 when it went old school :P]

And I am also making the car I drive in 3d with purpose of adding it a scanner and making it transform like 2008 kitt
what I have so far:

oh I see a lil difference :P its so funny... modeling... when ur makin a model u realize how many details there are around us that noone ever notices...

I use 3ds max... and I will model the same clio as u did very soon because my model is stock "KITT" and it will transform to your model which will be attack "KITT"... Just gotta wait 2 months till I have no more school :)

Btw... dont take it as offence but... your skills really improved since "a few years back" :D I'm not really impressed by ur Clio but that's the way it works with modelling... practice is essential... I sucked even more a few years back :P But ur KITT is pure art

Yes, you are right.... thay clio needs to be polished. the overall model is good, its just not that clean and high poly. Also.... my renderings were done without any effects... I am in the process of learning some more rendering technics using Mental Ray.

Thanks for the Art comment... hehe.

Here is an update i just finished. FIxed the front seats. The headrest was too tall... I also added arm rests to the back seat and finished the trunk lining.

Also I started that tricky dash!!! I forgot to mention, I have an MPC 1:24 kit that i can use for reference when I cant find pics.

Enjoy and comment.... =)

Wow, very detailed KITT model, looks really nice!
I see you've modeled another car too seen in Knight Rider episode "Chariot of Gold", namely Renault Fuego in red :)

to bucksanass1: Thank you for your comment =) The power bulge will come soon. I want to concentrate on the hard-as-hell interior first!. the easier stuff to model will come later on. I am afraid i will model all the easy stuff first and when i get to the hard part quit.

to KITTFAN: thanks so much. Yes I modeled the fuego in 2004. I love that car. I did the euro version of it though. Thnks for checking my site out! =)

to blazevski : Thank you man!! I went to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida. I graduated in 2004 and i got best demo reel award at graduation. Then I got a little better. hahhaa. My plan is to do a New demo reel animation with kitt and its super pursuit mode (shown transforming at a KI3T style, not just piece by piece.)

my demo reel is here : http://claudiocampolieto.com/demoreel/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
