1/64 Scale Die-Cast 2008 Shelby GT500KR
Hey everyone.
Okay, so it isn't official Knight Rider, but still a VERY cool and detailed piece from the same people who made the 1:18 scale version of the same car, Shelby Collectibles.
It's a very nicely detailed model, especially considering its size. Opening hood & doors, accurate rims with rubber tires (I think they're rubber), headlamps & tailights are seperate plastic parts, etc. REALLY nice piece. I'm actually going to grab another today so that I can open it and have a better look.
The attached photo was just taken with my cell, but I'll post better quality photos of both the packaged and un-packaged car once I pick up the second model.
For you Shelby fans, the back of the package shows the following 1/64 models available to collect which includes the 1968 Shelby GT500KR!
- 1966 Shelby GT350
- 1966 Shelby GT350H
- 1968 Shelby GT500
- 2008 Shelby GT500KR
- 1968 Shelby GT500KR
- Shelby GT 500E Elenor
- Shelby Cobra 427 S/C
- 2008 GT 500 Super Snake
- 2006 Shelby GT-H
- 2007 Shelby GT500
- 2007 Shelby GT
- 2008 Shelby GT
- Shelby Cobra Super Snake
- 2008 Shelby GT Convertible

Nice find! Where did you find it? I look for a 1/64th model when I'm out, but have yet to find one.

I gotta get me one of those. However, I did manage to find black Hot Wheels '07 Shelby GT-500, to go along with my white one.

Re: 1/64 Scale Die-Cast 2008 Shelby GT500KR
I like it-It looks Exactly like the Knight 3000. I've tried to find that at Walmarts and Toys R Us Here in Tucson-NO LUCK. If anybody knows if K-Mart carries them,or a Place i could order One-Let me Know, Please? I've always wondered-Why didn't Universal and Shelby do a Knight Rider:2008 edition Shelby GT500KR(It would've done well-I would've bought it the second I saw it.)? If You want to see Something Incredible, check out ToyNewsIntenational.com and ArtAsylum.com-They are Showing the first looks of KITT and KARR that Art Asylum is doing-I think they'll be Available at Toys R Us as well as Comic Book and Collectable Stores.

Unfortunately these haven't been produced in a couple of years now. Your best bet is ebay.
