If it is the music I am thinking of it reminds me of the slower version of the theme from Knight Rider 2000 when Devon died.

we're heard a couple of times, most recently in Knight to King's Pawn,

Michael Knight comes in to scene, and the piano plays all the way till 3:37

Indeed, that's the same one, yeah. a very emotional theme. I'm glad to notice, they have a constant theme in the show. wish they would use again the heroic opening theme from ep. 1 (previously used at the end of the pilot).

Reminds me of something. Does anyone know the Battlestar Galactica ep.'Valley of Darkness'? Starbuck was playing a piano suite "by her father". Thought this was music written for the series (by Bear McCreary) . Until i found the suite was 'Metamorphosis Five' by Philip Glass.
Before the current MasterKey Reel (http://masterkeyfilms.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)has been released (the one featuring 'Troublemaker' by Weezer)they had a reel with instrumental music only. I was sure I'v heard the theme before. It sounded similar to the music they use in Knight Rider. clean-cut case it must be from Knight Rider. And then...I was once again listening to the score by John Powell for The Bourne Identity. The track used in the reel was 'Escape From Embassy' ...I've heard it before...and the adrenalin was flowing
Not that they only use music that was not originally written for the show (respect to Chris Tyng, Stu Phillips, Morton Stevens and Don Peake)but to me the piano track is part of the KR score.

You mean the one played before 'hard times' by the parlor mob in the raceway tavern? Ditto! Sounds similar to the end titles. So it seems to be original score. Don't know if Chris Tyng is still responsible for it.
I've noticed reportages were often underlaid by film scores...especially music from Michael Bay's The Island by Steve Jablonsky (love it). What ice skating show did you saw?

I've searched high a low for this version. I've even tried to play it back in shazam on my iphone and I still can't find it. I've posted it on Yahoo maybe we can figure it out eventually.

The song I have similiar to "We Can Be Heroes" from the episode "Fly By Knight" is by The Wallflowers. I heard the song & thought....wait..I know that one! I pulled out the Wallflowers CD, and yep...the song! Not sure who remade that version, but I sure do hope it pops up soon. I've also noticed that NBC doesn't update the music section much. Which is a bummer! Maybe in a few weeks after all the episodes have run! (Crossing my fingers, but not getting my hopes up!)

Yes David Bowie is the orginal artist, Oasis did a cover and so did the Wallflowers, but none of those 3 sang the version at the end of show. I've sent a e-mail to NBC to ask them to update the music list since it stopped in Novemeber but I'm not going hold my breath.

Hey. YW! Yeah.... I'm a big fan of his so I was excited to hear him ending the show lol! That's a pretty big deal to get your song at the end... isn't it? I mean... there are lots of good songs in shows, but to end it is like the cherry on top of a cake IMHO. Anyway, take care and enjoy those sweet tunes.
