thanks bro^^ ,9 front 10 rear the car has much more grip but are a little slower for now , a good tune and air filter will help^^maybe one day a supercharger, my dream lol

I also want to lower it but don't know if one inch is enough or if 1,5 si better without destroying the bumper on speed bump

The car looks great.I don't own a replica but lowering that body would be havoc when it comes to speedbumps.I can't imagine that beautiful car getting all scratched up from the undercarriage outward.I live in Brooklyn,NY so speedbumps and potholes are a way of life here.Looks real nice!

Anyone try lowering there Mustangs yet? I contacted Gaplin Auto Sports, they are the ones that did the KI3T for the pilot and said that the Ford Racing Lowering Springs are what they did to there KITTs. Just wondering If anyone has tried this way or another method. :)

You guys might want to check out Velocity channel at 9:00 EST tonight. West Coast Customs is building a Mustang decked out with microsoft tech, including a HUD system. They're mating a '67 Mustang body to a '12 chassis.

WOW!! That looks great in green. Did you get the hood for the Shelby front end or for a reg. Mustang?

Thanks guys, the hood was for a GT. But there kis a fascia that will work with this hood. After your dash and Teds orb, my funds are short. I am lowering her hopefully next week, that will be $400 easy.

Hello guys n gals!
It's been awhile since I've posted but I'm back with many updates... and yes, my 08 Mustang is just about complete.
I only have a few things left to fix and I'm done.

MY biggest question is... I bought a juggling Orb for my dash piece and I'm trying to figure out how to mount it into
the dash? (I still have yet to attempt to remove the stock dash piece). So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tao... I tried to download your zip file on "how to" take apart the stock dash, but the file said it was removed.
Can you email the file to me?
mikes_email2@yahoo.com

As for the Q&A on my car... I will say that I found my hood through VIS fiberglass on Ebay.. which costed $400 shipped.
It fits the standard/GT models, so you don't have to blow excess money on the GT500KR front end.
I also found a nice honeycomb grill for $75.. the only thing that is different, is that it still retains the stock driving lights.. however, I installed some 'cling on' tint to the lights, using a heat gun to mold it to the lights.
For the wheels.. I went with the 18" inch 2011 style pony wheels (closest to the SS wheels) and found a set for $400
on Ebay. (at the time SS wheels were $2K per set). So far I get compliments on the way the car looks.
I also had a metal-worker cut my stock springs for $100.. For the front springs he cut off 1 ring, and welded the bottom 4" inches to the perch (to keep them from popping out). And for the rear springs he cut 1 & 3/4 rings off.
The car sits and rides alot better, and with the 18" inch wheels I managed to retain some sidewall cushion.
(I will post some photo's here, or you can check them out on my http://www.Facebook.com/starcarsusa" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; page)

Anyway, I look forward to any/all help that I can get.
Thanks in advance,
Michael

Here are a few images of my 2008 Mustang GT (KR replica)

As I stated above, I went with the 18" inch wheels and the grill that retains the driving lights, but tinted them.
And also lowered the car a couple of inches.. added the SCT tune and K&N filter also. It runs wild now. 8)

And a view of the scanner lenses installed...

Still working on the hood vents and ordered the correct rear spoiler. Should have them done within the week.
Please, let me know what ya think.
