another question with overdrive here in france there is a lot a little road and some very small so dou you drive always with the overdrive on? I'm tempted to drive only OD off excepte on highway to avoid unwanted shifting from 5 to 4

I dont have overdrive on my car or truck...lol.Does the Mustang have it?I only use up to gear 4 for city driving,Ive never had the need to go to 5th gear,there arent enough long stretches of road where I am to need it.

Ok now I have an interior question,does it have to have Leather Interior to be considered a true replica?or can it just be the body and the computer on the interior?

yes the mustang has an overdrive on it ,the trans often shift to 5TH to save fuel even a low speed the torque of the engine allow it the new mustang has a 6 auto trans and some german car up to 8

for the interior it's your choice the orignal kitt has a custom made leather interior to ressemble a GT500 since the seat don't have the snake emblem on it , and the fabric look a bit cheap if you look at the red insert in somes episodes

Ok stupid question about the powerOutlet above the radio,is the cover attached to anything,like how the gas cap is attached to a rubber wire on the inside of the gas door to hold it in place?Or can you just take it off and put in anywhere?

yes mine is a 2008 actually I don' like the stock floor mat I prefet a all season rubber set so it's easier to clean

no the stock are still one theey are just simple black carpet like on any car

Do they have anything special on them?Like the horse or GT emblem?Or is just black carpet,odd Ive seen grey interiors but never black So you put some rubber covers over em just so ya dont ruin the carpet right?Sorry for all the questions

The front bumper doesn't come painted. I payed about $1100 for the front bumper and all necessary hardware, $150 for front bumper paint, $850 for the hood, $750 for hood prep and paint....roughly.

Ok so if I do my math correctly close to about 3k just for the front end right?Thats not counting the scanner either if I recall...

Did you buy em off a site or somewhere special?I can imagine the dealership would of charged alot more
