Krkitt1, I have a question. Do you have the plastic ring that went around your Alcoas? It was almost tanish in color.. I lost all four of mine and need one to re mount a tire that threw a tpms sensor and my shop said that ring acts as protection when mounting a tire so the rim doesn t get scratched. Future reference for Alcoa owners too!

No, I don't have mine anymore. I did just have two tires mounted and had no problem. It depends on who you have mount them and what type of tire machine they have. If they lube up the tire and rim good, it will go on with no problem.

WOW, I just read all 42 pages of this post and it brought back some great memories when everyone was building their KITT’s, the last post was back in 2016..... 4 years ago..... I’m still working on my KITT and still is my daily driver with over 156,000 miles. Hopefully there’s still people out there still working on theirs. If anyone still reads these pages, post some updates.
