Hi Blackthorntk I dont think I am going to be able to do a full replica, since my color is Highland Green. But if I can do certain things it will resemble it a little more. Pierre, thank you for the info. So I will need 2 resistirs for the air bags and not just one? And could you explain a little more about the module I am not too sure I understand what I need to do for the horn to work. Thank you so much for helping!!!

you could always make a green KITT. People told me i should just make a red one and use white lights in front witch wold match due to Hawaii laws cant have red or blue up front. But I would love to have dual lights where it can change color basically as I would use red when at car shows if i ever get that far or just to show off in the neighborhood but not in public view. other then that i would flash the white ones when ever i drive about heh. good luck with ur stuff.

Hey guys, I'm trying to order the new SVT rims (Preferably 18', even though KITT is supposed to have 20"s) and I can't seem to find a place that has them online. Obviously I may not be looking at the right place, but if anyone can help me out on this one, I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, if the rims are in black, that would look awesome on my Shadow KARR. For those who have not seen my KARR, I got a video uploaded on You tube a while back whn I had the ICE LED lights. Thanks very much and hope to hear from you soon.

The 18 inch Shelby Alcoa rims are restricted to KR only and aren't available for sale. If you end up doing the 20 inch, Google "Super Snake wheels" or "Shelby Alcoa" and you should get some hits. You could also try championmustang.com. Ford had a stock set that was similar on the 2010 model that Bill used and looked pretty sharp.

Buy them dirrect from Shelby. I got two from them and it was great to deal with them. I got the run a round from two other places. If you have to buy them one at a time, Shelby is the best place to get them.

yeah I plan on having the 20 inch in back and 19 inch in front and yes buy them from shelby it might be expensive their but they are easier to handle then other places that give you runaround stories. the only thing I'm debating on now is wither I'll go with the chrome silver or chrome black. I know in pilot episode they had the chrome black supersnake rims for battle mode and I kinda want to get to a battle mode kitt as much as possible.

About the rims gentleman, since I will be buying mine next year hopefully, do you go 20x9 in the front and 20x10 in the rear, OR do you go 20x9 all the way around so you can rotate the tires. Does anyone have any imput on this or can share what they have done and there XP with this. Thank You.

Hey I did get it today. Sorry, it's been crazy at work. I will send you the info on the lights later tonight, I have to check and get the person I got mine from. As for the Rims, I went with the 20X9 in the front and 20X10 in the rear. It just fills the rear Q panels better but the bad thing is tha I can't rotate the tires. Matt has the 20X9 all the way around. If you can, take a look at his car and then mine. Mine are only on for the summer so I may only put 7500 miles on them a year. I'm hoping to buy a winter car so KITT can stay in the garage this winter.

Devon we have a problem. The Alcoa super snake 20" rims are being discontinued! Any thoughts to help all of us that still need to build KI3T?

I would check with Shelby first, then Ebay and then all the Mustang stores on the web. I had to buy one at a time because of the price. I would say it would be best to get all 4 at once. I went with the 20X10 in rear and 20X9 in front.

there are people who can custom make rims any way you like it. You may want to check with that sort of source if it comes to the point you can no longer find the rims. This would be the only other way to do it. If I recall having them made would also be cheaper to make then the actual alcoa super snake rims. I had a look into this awhile back and the guys i spoke too down in Hawaii told me they could do it and even make it spin out if I wanted that effect. Although having the svt logo in the middle they couldn't do but I did ask if they could put the two yin and yang style horse symbol there instead they told me yes yet I would have to have someone to customize that for me to give to them to add it in.

momo hub for mustang will find them when taping momo hub mustang on google .You'll need two 2 ohm resistor in place of the airbag connector to shut of the airbag light and to keep the others in function
