I've uploaded a few photos of a new jacket I attained recently - another REPLICA!
This time of the precious item seen from half way through Season 2: Michael Knight's jacket.

This was purchased through South Beach Leather.com.
It's tailored.

I have to say I did suffer from problems, as the first one that arrived was nothing close to the sizes I gave, so I had to return it (all the way to Marakesh!), but this one is fine, and feels great to wear.

I wanted to wear it to Knightcon earlier this year, but sadly the event was on after I had returned the 'faulty' one.

I doubt I would buy from this company again, as getting the problem resolved was a bit of a nightmare, BUT.... they did replace it, and they did refund my 'return postage'.

I would consider buying Mark's incredible identical Comlink, but £20 to post to me is a little high for me. Not his fault though.

But all this just goes to show that us real fans of KR, the original KR, have real passion for not only the show and watching the DVDs, but also the replica cars, and for those of us who cannot do the cars - to get props or clothing from the show.

Has anyone ever found the snake-like cowboy buckle belt he wore?
that would not be the guy on ebay selling replica jakcets. i had the same problem

It could be, as that was a guy selling them. I went to their web site.
The problem I had was that I asked what the size of XL was, but they insisted several times on getting the tailored sizes.
I get a jacket measured, email to them, send the money, and they STILL do it wrong.

Did you get a jacket back the wrong size then? was it really very wrong?

And did they change it for you, and refund your return postage?
It took a lot of work for me to get that out of them, and have them accept it was "faulty". Which technically, it was.

I was David's Personal Assistant during the 1st season of Knight Rider. He gave me a crew jacket with a metal name tag at the wrap party. These are pictures of that jacket taken 11/10. It's a size medium and can't believe it still fits, as I was age 25 when he gave it to me. I'm 53 now.

It got turned into a thread about KR Replicas/props.
But yes, I agree it should be moved.

Why on earth tho did you give it to someone else when you clearly wanted it? It's not like they are cheap jackets.
I was severely ticked off, but still argued it with them and won my point.

Time to move this thread? I've no idea how you guys do that.

I just ordered my jacket about 2 weeks ago & I am eagerly awaiting its arrival at my house. I probably won't wear this jacket just yet because the weather has been unpredictable with the snowstorms & etc., but once the weather does get stable to the point where it warms up just a little bit, I will definitely be wearing this jacket like crazy.

Just wanted to add to this thred that I ordered the SouthBeach Leather jacket off of e-bay. The service was really good! Quick e-mails and attentive to changes if needed. Admitingly I gave conflicting measurements so I hoped that the jacket they sent fit. The jacket is high quality and very well made. The snaps and zippers are nice and it FIT! Well, as far as 80s style is concerned it fit. I'm a bit hefty in some areas and with just a few pounds shed I will have a perfect fit.

All in all a well made leather jacket shipped from Pakistan in a great style from KR for $150 is a a good deal in my book.

Wow, cool! I have a black leather jacket, but I've had it since high school, and it's XS and hip-length and doesn't really fit around the bottom anymore, I've gained so much weight. :( When I have the $$, I may have to invest in one of these.
I wouldn't touch that one with a ten-foot drive shaft!
