If you haven't been to Terraserver.microsoft.com, I highly recommend it. You can type in an address and it will show you an aerial photo of the address. I typed in Arden Villa's address (the Foundation building) and got this great color aerial shot:

This photo was taken on March 29, 2004.

P.S. It's the house with the long driveway.

Amazing,

You would have though a structure like that would be out on it's own
landscape by watching the show. It is literaly crammed in with all those
other houses. Awesome picture though. Tahnks for posting it.

By the way, Hey Joe, Check your PM box. Thanks.....

from some of the views in kr and the fact we saw other buildings as part of what was meant to be kr, i now assume (after looking at that photo) that more than one location was used to build the image of trhe FLAG heaquarters...?

Keep in mind folks that it's probably 20 years since we saw it in KR and that satellite image. I'm sure the urban spawl factor has come into play 8)

I've done extensive research on Arden Villa, and believe it or not, every time Michael and co were outside FLAG HQ, it was shot at Arden Villa.

That's awesome. I would love to see more shots of the Villa from ground level, if you happen to have any.

the reason i asked is because of the shots we had of the HQ up on a hill in season one, which was never used again, it looked like a different building but was made out in the show to be a different part of the same complex.

and one of the buildings on the show... i can't remember which one now its been a while since i seen it (not kr)... appeared in csi:miami (its filmed in LA) and it was next to a beach. hence after that i thought they filmed at a couple of different locations to give the illusion of a huge HQ complex without having to build huge elaborate exteriors.

I forgot to add something to my last post...Arden Villa is used from the episode "White Bird" until the end of the series. Before that, it was Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills.

ah u see that's where i was confused lol, about the episodes before white bird lol.

i wish i could bloomin' well remember the episode from CSI:Miami better, been watching the reruns hoping to catch that one again but i haven't come across it yet. if i could remember it better i'd be able to tell you which part of the FLAG building it was... this is so frustrating. i posted about this siting a long time ago on here, as i found it so weird that the path leading away from the part of the building led down a very small lawn right to the sand of the beach! once i remember or see it again i'll let you know joe.

how close is the villa to the beach? could it be a part of the grounds? or maybe another building nearby built to similar architecture? well i say similar, i mean identical!

Joe, do you have any information, or pictures of Graystone Manor?

Arden Villa is no where near a beach...it's located in Pasadena, CA. However, it's not unusual for movies to film in more than one place but make it appear it's the same place.

Here's a site with info about Greystone Mansion:

If you don't mind my asking, how did you find out the name of the place? Was it mentioned in an episode or something?
