Okay. If you can get another one and buy the General Lee diecast, you could even have KITT vs. The General Lee races.

I myself am still wondering if I should purchase the KITT kits from the Fantastic Plastic site or not. Not sure about how trustworthy they are.

I can't find the page to purchase the kits from the plastic fantastic website. Most of these models are made by AMT soo you can buy them from the US anyway :D

Check out sarfraz' page on his AMT KITT model

The purchase page is on the main page. It's under the link for the Catalog. Once you click on it, you scroll down after reading all of the information on shipping, and click on the "here" for "Click Here To Order".

I think I may have before... I can't remember the link.

Yo guys!!! Check out the pictures of my completed Dante model.

Dante - Front shot: http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/code_b ... m=9628.jpg

Dante - Sideways shot: http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/code_b ... m=761c.jpg

*Dante - Bottom: http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/code_b ... m=b49c.jpg

Dante and Beast: http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/code_b ... m=21d6.jpg

*Though the bottom won't win any beauty awards, I had tried to patch up and redrill the holes for the rods for the wheels. Needless to say, the redrilling didn't work and the truk still sat too low. So, I ended up having to use epoxy putty to hold the rods into place on the bottom so that the Expedition would sit high as it should be. But like I said, it may not win any beauty awards, it is, however, serving its function.

New Update: I found two dicast motorcycels at Toys'R'Us that are perfect for Kat and Plato. I may work on them while I'm waiting for the replace windshield for the Mustang model to arrive to complete Domino. After that, all that will be needed is to make the decals and any later additions to the models later on.

Also, I'd like to get anyones opinion on the Dante model.

Where are Dante's rockets?

I don't have any rockets to put on the model. Besides, the models are meant to be a close representation of the vehicles from the show, not an exact replica (hey most KR fans that do conversions often just do the front of the car until they can later buy and install the electronics for the dash).

Sorry, it was not my intention to imply that you were picky or anything like thatm KARR. Again, I apologize.

NEW UPDATE!!: The piece that I have been waiting for Domino, the windshield, arrived today and the model is now complete. I have begun work on painting the 1/24 scale Kawasaki Ninja motorcycles to be representations of Kat and Pluto. Three vehicles down, two to go guys. I'll get pictures of Domino ready as soon as humanly possible to put in the online folder. :)

Also, I am looking at a website that is known to sell model parts to convert ordinary model cars into model police vehicles. I think they may have some front guard railing for police cruisers (which may be useful on the Dante and Beast models, depending on if they have them and the price is reasonable.

Can't wait to see what You come up with, as always! (how about 1/18, though? Give it a try!)

No, 1:25/1:24 is a bit easier. Besides, I've got one diecast model I need to alter to make into a "modern KITT", well, for the outer appearance so far. Besides, I think that Knight Vampire has one-uped a lot of KR models by creating the 1/8 scale KITT model when it comes to big models.

I'll try to get pictures of Domino up as soon as I can. So far, I am primering the necessary pieces for the motorcycles before I go to paint them. But soon all of them will be done.

Yeah, I know 1/24,1/25 is easier (I painted a few of those) but maybe, just maybe, one day You'll decide to try...
I wanted to modify the Sun Star (Ick!) Camaro into KITT, but then Sarfraz admitted forgetting to post that the 1/18 KITT will be out this November, so I abandoned the project, but I might make acccesories to the November KITT.

Well, look on the bright side... You can make the Camaro into KARR or maybe SKAR (that is if you like SKAR a lot).

Update: My computer is having problems. I do have a picture of Domino, but the quality isn't so good (I will have to retake the picture). However, it may take some time to get it up due to the problems my computer has been having.

Update: My model of Kat is completed. Now all I need to do is paint the motorcycle for Pluto and then the whole set will be completed, with enough room for minor alterations and additiond later on. :)

Update: I just added the picture I took of Domino. Again, I must warn that due to the lighting that I had to use (because I took the picture inside my house at night, using an overhead light), the image isn't exactly 100% clear and crisp quality as it would be during the normal daylight hours:
http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/code_b ... m=ab6d.jpg

Also, I have to admit, I'm not the best in painting models. If you were to see a picture of the model or looked at the model of Domino real clearly, you'd see I made a few errors in painting. But hey, I'm not a hard core modeler, I tried to go with what I had.

Well, that's just from that picture. After the computer problems we are having here on this end get fixed, I'm taking another picture, hopefully, only that is clearer.

I still have Plato left to do. One more and all five vehicles will be completed, with room to spare for modifications (right now, I'm working on a piece of styrene card to go up under Domino's engine compartment to block the view of the ending (seeing that I didn't complete the engine).

TBH, I'm surprised a few of the KR fans here haven't decided to try out my essay on different car models. I mean, I think the idea of using the Coke bottle top for making a scratchbuild scanner would be useful for anyone who wants to add a scanner to their vehicles. It'd be better than just using a red piece of styene, which doesn't give the detail of the scanner (as it does on the KITT model for MPC and AMT).

Also, I found out something very funny. The re-release of the General Lee model is a retooling of a Hemi-Charger, right? Well, the original General Lee model was a retooling of another Charger model, too! I read about it in the "Toy and Model Car Magaine" I made mention of a while back.

Update: Painted Plato with flat black paint. I will use a little bit of glossicoat to give its the right shine. :)
