Hasselhoff's Canadian movie

Post by Michael Pajaro » Tue Dec 30, 2003 1:42 pm

Hasselhoff was/is in a Canadian-produced movie "Don't Call Me Tonto!", a comedy about a former rodeo star who is reduced to doing kiddie birthday parties. It was reviewed in Variety about 2 weeks ago (decent, not great) which makes me assume it was released recently. Anyone in Canada see it or any marketting for it?

Weird Michael. I had heard about this movie, but as Fugitives Run, you can view a trailer at the production company's website:

Anyone remember that weird Star Wars clone he did in the late 70s early 80s. I wanna say it was called "StarChaser" or something.

I want to get that one, I've seen clips, but not the whole thing.
KITT project is on again!

Currently working on: brand new stock tan interior, almost done!

Interesting.

The IMDB notes that this film is directed by "Alan Smithee", which is a generic name applied to directors who disavow their films.

I wonder who actually directed and why he decided to ditch his name?

Is the movie that bad?
