The sad truth is that there are whole generations of known faces/names whose time has/is come/coming to an end. Be glad that we have had the technology for quite some time to preserve at least a little bit of their generous talent. Perhaps, someday, (like Futurama loved to portray) there will be something more available to allow the famous figures to, in some way, continue to live like immortals.

He will be missed, as will so many others.

And, they better gosh darn get Ghostbusters 3 out to hand the franchise off to a new generation before we lose any more comic genius.

I also realized that I had this classic poster at the ready. So, I snapped a photo of it after cleaning off about 10+ years worth of dust. It was a unique poster that appeared in video rental stores of the time. Because I was 'such good friends with' the sole employee of the store at that time, I snagged this poster with the stand up frame for a song. That rather plain frame has long since been lost. But, this slightly damaged 'moving 3-D poster' survives. I bet it's downright rare.

I also took a quick video to show off it's 3-D features. http://youtu.be/MxKZqhrUSv0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
