Along with the losses of Eddie Fisher and Tony Curtis,

"The Typewriter" of Stephen J. Cannell has been silenced.

Words can not begin to express the losses.

A very sad time indeed steven leaves with us all with a legacy of tv greats "hill street blues" and ofcourse "the A-team" to name but 2 sincere condolences to his family.

Wow,to me he will always be remembered as the man who created such great entertaining shows such as The Rockford Files,The Greatest American Hero,The-A-Team,21 jump street,hunter and Renegade.He was a nice guy.

I agree-This is Truely a Sad Time in Hollywood-Stephen J. Cannell was One of the Most Brilliant Writers/Producers EVER!! THE A-TEAM, HUNTER, SILK STALKINGS, 21 JUMP STREET..The List Goes on and on. He is the Fourth Talented Person We have lost this week-Gloria Stuart("Titanic"), Tony Curtis("Some LIke It Hot", "Spartucus", and the TV Series THE PERSUADERS(with Sir Roger Moore, who would go on to be the Third Actor to play James Bond), and Greg Giraldo(Many of You Saw him on the Comedy Central Roasts of David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, William Shatner and Flavor Flav. He was One of the Funniest Stand Up Comics out there). We are Losing Way too Many Talented People.

Yes, condolences indeed are in order. Cannell had a great creative talent, and overcame
dyslexia to become one of the most prolific writers in tv history.
Tony Curtis was a legend who could bring any role his own flavor and make it entertaining.
It's not gonna be too easy to fill the legendary shoes these guys walked in.
