Who is going to KnightCon?

Post by Skav » Fri Aug 06, 2010 12:01 pm

So far, Nick Nugent, Catherine Hickland and Rebecca Holden have confirmed to be there recently.

Don Peake confirmed that he was going when he told me at KRFII but I have no updates from him as to whether he still is.

Anyone from the forum going?

I'm a maybe. I was a definete but my friend's dad sadly died which has put him in a little bit of financial difficulty and I have no means of transportation without him but we are working together to get something sorted.

Catherine, herself, confirmed it to me via facebook. Of course, things can always change.

 Halifax? I'm almost living on top of the next KnightCon, and I never knew! If I dared, I could totally make that. :good:

I have plans on it. Especially helps, now that I know what hotel to stay at...that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I can't tell you how much I wish I was going to this, but will definately go next year if Knightcon 2011 is on.

I'm so proud, my 4 year old daughter adores Knight Rider, she wants to watch it everyday - and who am I to turn her down

She ran downstairs last night while I was watching it as she heard 'a good Turbo Boost' and demanded I rewind the DVD.

Hi all
I am a huuuuge Knight Rider fan. Have been since 1982 on the first episode.
I have FINALLY found the company that sells tailor made Michael Knight leather jackets. The real macCoy! With the zig-zag leather stitching on the back and front. It's South Beach Leather in the USA if anyone is interested.

I hope to have it made and delivered to me by 25th so I can wear it with total pride.

I delighted to hear both "Stevie" and "April" will be there too. Makes it even more of an exciting event. But for me, the biggest joy that will cause a lack of sleep on 24th Sept, is that I will finally get to sit in a KITT. I've longed for that moment for such a long time.

To meet people who have worked so hard to make their cars look identical, will be such a pleasure. I am coming from south Lincolnshire (quite a drive!), but looking forward to it so much.

Cannot wait to meet so many other KR fans. Those who are "serious fans". Take care all, see you up there soon.

And if I can - I'll be the one (maybe of many?) in the Michael Knight Black Leather Jacket.

Sadly I won't be able to wear my new Knight Rider replica jacket, as southbeachleather.com have tailored it totally wrong.

Was hoping to go pretty much like MK, but not to be. I sent my tailored figures to the guys, but it came back designed for a teenager, so was too small.

But, I will still be going to the big event on Saturday. Can't wait to meet everyone and their cars and memorabilia. Gona be a great day.

S.
