Has anyone managed to ask Mr Larson what he thought of KR08?
Has he ever seen the posts on this site and does he know the feeling of KR fans regarding a possible remake and the general feelings of the 08 show?
Can anyone track him down and point him in the direction of this site?

Well our one and only Victor Kros knows Glen Larson personally, maybe check out some of his posts, you might find an answer. If not, maybe Victor will respond directly.

Re: G Larson question
Glen's feelings on KRO8 is that "Universal did not "get" what Knight Rider was about. They didn't get it with Knight Rider 2000, TKR, and they didn't "get it" with the new series."
They tried to create a "new" series without his influence. "It" to Glen is a balance of heart, humor, and strong characters - Not product placement, T&A, and flashy visual effects for the sake of visual effects to enhance a weak story concept. He felt the characters were lacking and K.I.T.T. had no believable humanity.
Fans are absolutely free to disagree with his views. This is how he feels about it.
He does not approve of what NBCU chose to do (namely exclude him entirely from the creative process) but they were legally able to do it. The timing harmed his motion picture ambitions and set the feature film back further from being realized on the big screen.
Glen knows of Knight Rider Online, he is pleased that the fans are still recognizing a show that is nearly 30 years old and care to see it continue into the future. Hopefully his motion picture ambitions will not disappoint and are neither a continuation or complete "remake" of the original Knight Rider series. It's Knight Rider as if the events of the original mythology characters existed and occured in our modern day - Something new, yet familar.
Hope that helps.
