Oh my God...

Alex, are you well your head?

Your photos appearing women seem to me Playboy! But I do not like this, because the television series Knight Rider is a great Adventure and Science Fiction!

We are fans Knight Rider and not the women Playboy.

Thanks!

as a red blooded American Male...one part wants to thank you, while the other part wants to remind you that KR, at least it should be, is viewed as a Family show...that's really why KR 08 failed, no kid support.

So you get 1/2 yeah, and 1/2 nea...but an A for the effort...

Has the KRO website really come to this? I don't mean to offend anyone, and I'm glad your KITT was featured in a magazine, but these pictures border on inappropriate for an open forum. I have a son who looks at this site with me because I'm passing the enjoyment of Knight Rider to him, but this is ridiculous.

Hi Alex,

I’m afraid that many of those pictures aren’t really appropriate for a family orientated community like ours. As a result, Neil and I have decided that the fairest course of action is to remove the image tags, and convert the pictures into links. :good:

Thanks Matt. Like I said, I wasn't looking to offend anyone. If someone wants to look at pictures of that type, then I have no problem with that. KRO is one of the few sites where I can go and not be confronted with pictures that are non-family friendly. I appreciate you making the conversion.

That girl could never be Bonnie because she is trash. Bonnie was a true lady who was classy, dignified, intelligent and beautiful.

Juggernaut30,

The Patricia McPherson was the character Bonnie Barstow that participated and entered in the series television KR was in the day 13 of September of 1982 and she was 28 old years and finished in the day 8 of August of 1986.

The Patricia McPherson left of be to Bonnie Barstow in the television when was 32 old years and was work for Ballona Wetlands and Bonnie Barstow (Patricia McPherson) will be the greatest story ever!

Thanks.

Juggernaut,

I don’t appreciate your wilful mocking of our rules. The simple fact is that this community was originally created with the first generation of Knight Rider fans in mind. As a result, many of our members are now raising children of their own, and should be able to browse this site without wondering if their children will see something that’s inappropriate for their age group.

It's not that there's a problem with this kind of thing per se. It's that posting this kind of thing needs to be done in a way that can't catch people unawares. By providing links instead of images, no one can accidentally stumble onto the pictures, as they'll be forewarned that the content may not be suitable for them to look at at that particular time.

Sorry if it sounds like that I mocking our rules, that was not my intention.

But i don`t understand, why do you get so excited about a little naked skin?
You see more of that in every swimmingpool or on the beach.

I think it`s a little bit funny to think the the old KR was for kids.
A guy got smashing in a car crusher,Michael Long got a shoot in his face or a guy gets roll over by a train ....is that something for kids? That is ok but a girl in a bikini or half naked is not ok?

I´m sorry that I think that is a little bit ridiculous, but hey.....That`s only my opinion.

And a different opinion is not "wildful mocking the rules". ( I hope ) :D

I agree. Great replica, but c'mon guys... There's no need for that trash in order to make a KITT replica look great.
I'm a red-blooded male.....but you've gotta have some kind of respect for a woman's integrity, even if they don't themselves...

- Enough is enough. Let me ask you something Dave, did you let your son watch the new Knight Rider in its entirety? What about you Supermommy? If so, this display is tame in comparison. There's no nudity, no flashing g-string cheek shots, no close up of cleavage, it's attractive women enjoying cars and that's a national pastime that has nothing to do with compromising a woman's integrity (Matt), she's enjoying the car? What's the problem with this? The girls are models? They need to pay the bills like everyone else? It doesn't matter whether it's cars, make up, bras, or whatever - it's a respected profession, its not porn. I've seen HighSpeedMag do far worse. I think people try to see more than is really there.

Has the world come to such a high degree of censorship, any showing of skin is considered pornography yet we can show in graphic bloody detail the taking of human lives on television and in video games? There is nothing explicit here and the photos are done tastefully with an obvious respect for concealing nudity in these particular shots.

I have no doubt Alex posted images he felt were family friendly, given what "family friendly" stands for by todays standards.

I agree with Matthew, Alex could had made some sort of disclaimer to give people a head's up of what the thread contained. So I'd consider that a lesson learned.

If Knight Rider Online and its mods wish to censor or discourage displays of this nature, it's their community and they make the rules, so they should be followed. I think Matthew turning the photos into links was a sensible solution but in my opinion the commentary to what Alex did was unecessary. If you don't like the thread or it offends you, move on to another one instead of trying to bend everyone to adhere to your particular viewpoint. There's plenty of content to view on KRO that's fun for all ages - use proper discretion.

Otherwise I see nothing wrong here.

The ladies seem to love KITT and KARR. If you don't like it, don't look at it. Well said Victor.

No Nick, I didn't. I try to bring my kids up with morals. And fwiw, I didn't like watching the new episodes with all that either. Just not the way I was brought up I spose, either way that's fine if you like this kind of stuff. It's honestly not my problem. :)

*?$# Nick. There's nothing tasteful about the way these models are displaying themselves. I do think turning the pics into links was the best solution, but that doesn't negate the point I was trying to make. Even if it's 'acceptable' by today's standards.....it still doesn't make it right. The adage of 'If your friends jumped off the bridge, would you too?'
I'm simply expressing my opinion on the subject matter, just as you did Nick. I'm not trying to bend everyone to adhere to my viewpoint....but I do believe that I'm in the right, simply based on what I believe.

To be honest, yes Victor, my son does watch both the old and new Knight Rider series. And one of the things I was disappointed in, though there were many, was the use of "skin" instead of plot. We live in a world where "sex sells" and I understand that is Hollywood's main focus. In all fairness, I never said the pictures were pornography, and you are right, if I don't want to see it, I shouldn't look at it. In this case, I had no choice. I was doing my daily visit to KRO and saw a forum labeled "HighSpeedMag photo shoot with KITT" and I looked to see a KITT replica. As I went down the list of pictures, I saw more and more skin. You did state that there should have been a disclaimer, and I appreciate that, and would have appreciated there being one. I'm not a prude. I love women and I am married to a great one. I try to honor that commitment to her by not tempting myself into thoughts about anyone but her. Again, I did not mean to offend anyone. Look through all of my past posts and you will see this is the one and only time I've had a "complaint" about anything on the forum. I love everything about Knight Rider and love this community. I didn't mean to stir anything up.
