I was browsing pictures and videos, were the cars not available for the show, or did the cars get crushed?

No they weren't there. My guess would be that, since NBC didn't have a show to promote anymore, they didn't care.

Not a big loss. We had a 3000 there that was sweet. Plus the updated Attack Mode DeceptiKarr would easily crush the Attack Mode 3000 with a swipe of it's gull wing doors.

Wow I thought for sure that they would still use the cars as a promotional tool. I mean If I owned the only rights to televise something why wouldn't you give the cars for Paul to use instead of moping around your failing network.

My real question still is what happened to the two Mustangs used in the Pilot movie that was sold at Barrett Jackson. The owner should def make an appearance here or at KRF ;). Come out come out wherever you are.....

I have talked to the owner of the Pilot Attack and normal cars.
He has a private car museum where they are currently stored.
It's anyone's guess though where the series Mustangs ended up.

From my understanding from a reliable source is that the series Mustangs are being sold later this month...
NBC! :good:

Barrett Jackson? Ebay Charity? Man they really should hold off on it till next March and have the auction on Fremont street with the proceeds going to CMN. They better get pre approved bidders though :)

Last I heard, Cinema Vehicle Services had them in storage. I'd imagine they still do until the auction house does.

So anyone in Indiana in May?

Here are the Auction listings from the Dana Mecum Spring Auction:
Attack KITT:

Hero KITT:

Interesting that their Attack KITT photos are from first Knight Rider Festival

Any thoughts on how much it would go for? I'm thinking of bidding as an absentee on the hero car. Heck, I'd love to have the attack mode too (although I'd have to settle for one or the other).

The auction of the pilot cars sold for $300k, but that was for both the Hero and Attack versions as well as a guarantee for an availability to purchase a KR500 Shelby limited edition.
