What time does your flight get in? I land at 10am in Vegas myself on Friday.

I'm actually driving from San Diego! Gotta love driving in the middle of the night w/ music blasting loud as hell! Time 2 whip out the video and still cameras for any UFO sightings along the way! Area 51's still out there! ROFL!!! I'll probably touch base in Vegas around 8am-10am!

My parents and son left in the motorhome last night. I'll be driving Thursday night from the Bakersfield area, myself. 6 - 7 hour drive for me.

I'll be driving that very same route. About an hour less of it. But, the same freeway.

Last night, I was able to see quite a sky full of stars, despite the city lights. Was tempted to take some video in the middle of that desert stretch. (Need an excuse to stretch the legs, anyhow. And, marveling at how they came up with a street name like 'XYZYZ Road', I've already done.)

And, I figure that the trip up will be tuned into several books on these little audio devices I picked up from the library, yesterday. These tiny, hand held MP3-like devices, dedicated to a single recording. Simply amazing how our world progresses. My ride's still equipped with a tape deck. And, now, we've gone past disc to digital audio files.

Ooooo...fun. But, don't get too close. I hear their security has authorization to gun down anyone and thing that just happens to get into their sights, just because they happen to be in a bad mood, that day. One would need K.I.T.T. to escape the act of just taking a peek, out there. (Or, my A.M.I.M.C. II. Having a stealth shell with temperature control might just be enough of an edge to avoid detection. At least from any Earthly detection devices. Hard to say what those advanced E.T.'s might be bringing to the table. :? I know that they operate in dimensions that I never learned about in school and some truly are stealth fliers, requiring the latest in US Government equipment to even see them on a different bandwidth of light...) Perhaps, I'll put on the audio book of "Dreamland". It's about top secret planes that they test out there in Area 51, though. Not UFO's.

Who's in Vegas NOW? It's hot like summer out here in sunny San Diego! Definitely feels like Comic-Con weather, ROFL!
Hard to believe the event is just right around the corner? Are any of you already packed? I'm tempted to pack NOW! Hahahaha!

Got the luggage and half the stuff in the truck, right now. It's still dark out and I have this netbook tied up with two external HDD's and the video camera. Still got gigs from the last con I went to that needs to make way. Transfer claims there's another 18 minutes to go. Not bad from the 45 it was giving a few minutes back.

Checking the boards at the Krispy Kreme, as of 9 am. Saw a sampling of KITT's paraded on Fremont. Alas, I came down to check the net and get breakfast supplies. Camera's not at hand. They'll be time, though. :P
