Now that Leno is being pulled due to the utter failure of Joe Zucker's half-brained idea to bring Leno 5 days a week, NBC is desperately trying to bring on scripted dramas again.

If there were ever a time to really PUSH for a second KR 08 season, it's NOW.

Let's re-start the letter-writing and NBC message board campaign to urge Comcast... er NBC to bring KR back!

There's no harm in trying. KR consistently came in #2 to Idol January through the end, and even if everyone else thinks it's dead, I'm going to keep sending letters and posting on message boards.

Looks like it's just you and me.

I would be the first one to help out this new campaign, but the problem is (as you can see) a lot of people will not put any effort in to get our voices heard. Which sucks. Here is hoping that Dave Andron sees this and is willing to give the doubters some hope... if we get the masses on a roll it might as well work... seeing how NBC is "Lost" anyway... and is bleeding, bet you they would wish KR was still being made as at least that was stable and doing better than what they are showing now in terms of ratings.

Second step should be to physically 'snail mail' NBC

By the way everyone, FYI, I posted this in another thread, and I thought I'd share it here. GST, via twitter, doesn't seem to have much hope for KR even at this point. I'm still sending him tweets trying to convince him that it's the right time, and that NBC is considering bringing back shows it took off the air. Here's my other post:

Hey guys, while I'm one of the biggest proponents of bringing KR back (I even started a thread to start the letter writing and comment board campaign again), but I asked GST via twitter the following (I've been watching his tweets, and it seems to be the real GST to me - I could be wrong of course, and it could be an imposter):

flagceo: @GarySThompson - any chance of getting KR back on NBC now that Leno is going back to the Tonight Show? Mid-season replacement?

And GST replied to me with this yesterday (1/26/2010):

GarySThompson: @flagceo Don't think so. New people at the Network. KR was Ben's baby.

If it's him, GST is not invested in the project, of which he was the primary producer. SO... if he won't re-engage, unless NBC gets someone else to do it (or unless Glen Larson finds someone), I don't have much hope that NBC will re-order KR. I hate to say it.

Now, that doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying. My next tweek to GST was

But he hasn't responded. Still, keep writing to NBC, and make sure your subject/thread lines say something about bringing Knight Rider 08 back to NBC. Even if they don't read every e-mail/posting/letter, they'll at least be able to see the subject lines.

Uhhnmmm you didn't uderstand me there. I meant that I created like ten e-mail addresses so that I could send the emails to NBC so that they wouldn't think it's the same person all the time.
If you want to "bombard" NBC with messages( which I advise everybody to do

) then go there http://www.nbc.com/contact/general/ and just tell them what you think...

I'd like to e-mail too. I can generate many different e-mail address' with Yahoo mail. I need to know an address to e-mail too. To revive KR08 (latter half) I'll e-mail till my eyes are blood shot!

I can send using over 30+ accounts a day!

I'll support it, but we have a 50/50 chance in getting the cast back. They all went on to do other shows and stuff. We do want the same cast, but their that small chance we could get a whole different cast. Count me in and lets hope if we get a 2nd season we get all 5 reminding cast members.
