Glad you're ok. Sorry to hear about all that has happened. Next time, drive KARR, he'll scan the streets for cops and take alternate routes. ^^

Thank God you were in a Ford. My son and I were involved in a wreck with my 1988 Taurus. A woman in an SUV hit us in the rear and turned it into an 88 Escort.

We came out with scratches and brusies. He was between me and the passenger seat still in his car seat when he was 4 months old after the wreck was over with. Thank God we survived. She hit us so hard that the car moved out from under the shattering glass.

I was driving at 3am and fell asleep. I apparently ran off the road and hit a tree in a field. I awoke 30 minutes later and climbed out the open t-tops to slide down the back window and get out of the car. I called for help with my cell phone. When the ambulance got there they took me to the hospital overnight. I shattered both my ankles, broke my nose, and ripped my lower lip nearly completely off. I was in a wheelchair for 3 months.

First things first, I hope you're getting all patched up and back to normal. Nothing like personal injury to set you back. Now, please correct me if I'm wrong here, Taoworm, but it sounds to me like an airbag and seatbelt that were functioning properly would have prevented your injuries. The police insurance should pay for all of your Long-to-Knight cosmetic surguries, but it seems like the defunct accident failsafes should provide you with some, shall we say, civil restitution due to your ordeal. Am I off base here? I know, the law always doesn't seem common sensical, but I have to ask if there is something to this. What does your lawyer say about it, if you can share? I understand if you can't say anything due to perhaps current litigation, but I would think you are owed something more. Not a million dollar face surgery and a supercar that talks and jumps in a single boost after said accident, but something.

Well, the good thing is that both you and the car are getting new grills in the end.

Taoworm and Tamatt:

Wow, you guys had your share of injuries and hope the both of you have a speedy recovery. Human life is more precious and valuable than our cars. However, someday, your KITT's will indeed ride again. Take care and Holla at the one, True, Tiger!

Hey Taoworm, I know you're using a windows platform for the touchscreen that you were planning on developing, but since Apple just unveiled the iPad today, any chance you may try to use that instead? You could develop an app for the App Store that would provide all of the features you want to put including graphics, voice recordings, etc. It could be a completely custom interface. Just thinking out loud. The iPad is expensive though.

yes I saw it is sleek very reponsive like all apple product and I'm not a fan of pc an *?$# lol
plus the ipad can be connect to a external keyboard wireless , so it would be cool cool to have a keyboard in the glove box like in the pilot episode^^
