Looks good so far man!
I thought about the hood pins but opted out of them...never found a set that I really liked or that worked quite like they should.

Heres a look at Matt's scanner I made for him before I sent it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSSU_zexZy0It is insanely bright! Just as bright as mine from the show!
You guys hit me up on youtube if you want one or pm me here also.
I made it to have 3 rows of High flux LEDs just like my scanner from the show.
I am now working on the HUD UV laser for me Matt, iphil & others.
And I am working on a new 'stealth mode' UV scanner.

No the one I built for Matt is EXACTLY as wide as mine from the show. Mine has 3 rows and so does the one I made for Matt. It even has the exact same number and type of LEDs as the one from the show.
Not bad for a $550 dollar option compared to over $4000 huh?
I made this so you guys could afford a scanner that wasn't too small or wasn't bright enough. There will only be about 15 made by me so let me know if you want me to make more.

There are only 2 maker of KR scanners that will fit a Mustang shelby hood.
The official scanner for $4200.00 (and there's only one left)
And my scanner for $550
With this your KI3T will be the hit of any car show!

Finally got the hood pins and lenses/diffusers mounted this morning. Scanner and 'surprise' will be revealed tonight!
Here's a preview:

Sorry, the car's filthy BTW.
Yes I will be taking the GT emblems off, however I won't be using the 'Snake' emblems.

Damn Matt that looks so awesome man!
I am speechless.
The blue reflection from the sky in the brand new paint job looks awesome against the scanners deep red.
And the wheels are so damn cool!
My god man...just beautiful

Great work, man! It looks even better than the Mustang from the series!
Michael: Kitt what matters to me is who you are not what you look like. Sure we don't have the car so we can't turbo boost so we can't go over 200 miles an hour but it was all icing on the cake anyway

The stock brakes look tiny with the 20" rim.

Yes I will be installing vinyl stripes, but I have to wait 60 days until the paint it fully cured on the hood.

I've got to give huge props to Taoworm for the scanner! I think the result came out looking better than I wanted! Thanks so much man!

I hope to do plenty of business with you in the future when I get to the interior of KI3T!

Yes they are the Shelby Alcoa 20" rims. The same ones used on KITT as well as the Shelby Super Snake.
