Gee ozikool, thats kinda vauge.
But thats quite alright, because to be honest, you won't have to drive the car everyday. I will.
And I think it will be awesome! :good:

Of course we are all entitled to our own opinion. (I feel the same way about the series Attack Mode.)
No offense is ever taken. :)
Yeah :D Well at least the whole is good

[quote="taoworm2323"]Original (series) attack mode concept art :good:
Image

What bothers me just a little bit is the side skirts. Is this suppose to be a picture of KITT in mid transformation? Are they mini break sails? What I agree with the current series transformation is KITT definitely looks like a more aggressive car compared to this one. But what I love about this concept is the spoiler and rear extensions. The front under skirt looks nice, but the collapsable hydroblower I can do without. To me, KITT shouldn't even need blowers for air intake, but I'd rather stay with the current air intakes........damn, I love that spoiler and rear extensions!

On the flip side, this concept would be more dazzling to see in reality just because the mechanics for basic transformation is feasible. ..........geez, that spoiler and rear extensions is @&^# sweet!

Hi KnightInstinct.
Yes the side skirts are 'airbrakes', but they don't deploy until the car needs to be stopped.
In the animation EVERYTHING deploys, but in real life everything deploys EXCEPT the side skirt brakes (until needed that is).

And I have to agree with you too, the spoiler and the rear look badass!
And I LOVE the front end as well.

that transformation process is realistic doesn't need cgi
that is much better than the current one
what concerns me is that can it trnsform while moving?
that was the issue with KI2t
this is somethinig i found in imdb
You never see a long shot of KITT changing into Super Pursuit Mode, since KITT is not moving at all. A shell of KITT's body was used when filming the transition to Super Pursuit Mode, since large hydraulic rams were needed to articulate the body panels, and there was no room for an engine or running gear in the car.
here is the link http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083437/trivia

Will you beat Jay Ohrberg to the finish line with your project? lol, I know, it's going to be a process.

No, he's building a new Super Pursuit Mode KITT, back in the original series they were apparently more limited (be it technologically or budget) and yeah the car that transformed wasn't drivable, probably one reason we always had the same, recycled shots for it as well except for one or two episodes where it was used at night (which looked cool), of course again probably also a budget issue.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great! :skar:

Yeah, it's a shame that Jay is still not making the SPM mode functional.
The 3 youtube links I posted are a french dude who made the SPM functional. It is along these same lines that the Knight 3000 will be able to venture into Attack Mode.
You would think with the tech available today that Jay would have been able to do that.

Like weeeezl said the side skirts would work like EBS but if they were the other way around they would make the car get some grip when its going fast

Is it just me or did no one point out that this concept is also using "tweels" in it? Tweels for those that don't know are high performance airless tires. Check out the video below.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOSAQjCb ... re=related

Interesting stuff but I wonder how they hold up under intense stuntwork?

Jay Ohrberg is in serious legal trouble with Warner Bros. I doubt he's going to be building much of anything until he gets things sorted out. As for the concept art of the Attack KITT, I don't understand the point of the front end transformations? The struts make the car look more like an insect, perhaps a beetle of some sort.

Very impressive, it actually looks dangerous and agressive, unlike the Attack Mode we actually got.
